They say they are JMR Legal Services..They leave the same message..using different voices and several different phone numbers.
I have been through this before. The last one I talked to told me to have 2 forms of ID ready as she was sending a process server right over. That was a couple of months ago and I'm still waiting.

Shawn Hunter of PSD left a message that he has residence documents (???) and needed to confirm my address before he had me served. He said I have 48 hours to call him back before he is forced into further action. he gave a file number to referecne when I call back. Sounds like boiler-room tactics. Anyway we can get these dirtbags arrested for fraud? He called from 855-869-2185

hi...... they are actually based in amherst or buffalo new york.......they have called me as well and they called from this number as well as 5 other numbers... they are scamming.... they are getting peoples old information and trying to claim that they have a debt and threaten to take you to curt for a civil matter.It is illegal and they dare threaten you that you are going to jail that is totally illegal...... i am in the process of filing with the BBB in the state i live in as well as New York. I spoke with someone yesterday from AG's office where i live and they also asked the relative who answered the phone if they knew my social security number?! who does that? I spoke with 5 of 6 different people and they will not give an address or fax number.... want to send them papers but they wont give info.

I received calls today and yesterday, Whn i called back asking for their mailing address and a fax number so I can send them legal documentation they hung up on me. I called them back and was hung up on more than 5 times...they still did not give me any info on where i can fax or mail papers to ... they did ask me to stop calling them though... didnt like the phone calls in return..... seems they like to call and harass but dont like when you ask the questions. They did state that the company is CSMS.... and you are right, they are getting old information on a loan that was paid off 4 or 5 years ago and i have the papers to prove it.i plan on filing a complaint with the BBB in california and in New York that is where they said they are based out of.Surprised they even gave me that bit of info.... what really prompt me to call them and get answers is they called arelatives house asking someone there where I was and what is my ss#??

got a message for Joe McKinley telling me that he would be delivering papers to my house tomorrow, and if no one was there then my place of work the day after.  Called them back already knowing what kind of call I was dealing with.  I spoke to a woman by the name of Linda Armstrong.  She told me that my wages were going to be garnished and my vehicle registration would have a hold placed on it if I didn't make some sort of payment arrangement over the phone.  Explained politely to her that I would not be giving her any information over the phone, and I requested documentation of whatever debt it was that she said that I owed.  She said that she would send it to me via email.  No more than 10 minutes later I received another voicemail from Linda Armstrong with a payment arrangement; however, I still have yet to receive the requested email.  Oh well.  Yet another phishing scam.  The three phone numbers that I can in relation to this particular offense are 727-544-7092, 855-869-2159, and 716-362-0833.  The latter of the three happens to be The Dough and Pizza Makers of Cheektowaga, NY.  Go figure.

I got the same call today. Please tell me did anyone ever go to your home or jobs? Does anyone know the name of this company? I did have a pay day loan that is unpaid. They cannot prosecute you they can take you to civil cour tho.

A male called seeking a man I divorced over 30 years ago.  He claimed I was listed as next of kin and wanted to know where H.G. was.  I prefer no more calls of this nature.  H.G. is remarried and I heard pastoring a church in Arizona.  He should be easy to find without annoying me.  The caller cannot be located via yellowpages.com nor whitepages.com.

Received a phone call from a, James White today. He claimed to be working with the local prosecuting attorney's office, in a lawsuit in my county and would be filing a suit against me.  That this was the final and last attempt to resolve this matter out of court.  I contacted the Court both State and County and they told me if anyone come to my house. Immediately call the local police and not to open the door even less to sign any documents to anyone. Phone 855-869-2159 & 716-362-0788.

Ok everyone these calls are a scam. They are using a tactic called Caller ID Spoofing. THIS IS ILLEGAL. As of 2009 Congress signed into law the Truth in caller ID Act. Collection companies will call you from a number the same as your area code claiming to be a person respresenting a law office and need to bring papers by your home or place of employment. They are trying to get you to give them your personal information. They will not tell you who they are or what company they work for they will most like give you a phone number to call. When you call that phone number it will be another company seeking payment on an alleged debt. 9 times out of 10 a old payday or internet loan that you may or maynot have paid.  SOLLUTIONS:

1. contact the phone number they give you and get their name and address and find out what company are they claiming you owe money two.

2. IMMEDIATELY send them a Cease and Desist letter (Sample Letter thttp://www.bendover.com/adiosbottomfeeder.asp) telling them to stop all attempts to contact you or any third parites regarding this debt and that you will deal directly with the creditor your self. According to the FTC it is your right to FIRE a collection agency and deal with the creditor directly your self. Send the Cease and Deisis letter via Certified Mail only.  

3. Then if after you receive certified reciept that they got the letter and they still continue to contact you at work or home, call your states Attorney General office and the Fair Trade Commission and report them for harrassing calls .

4. If your recieved a call from a caller id in your area code and they geve you another number to call then do the following

I got a phone call from a James White today both on my home and work numbrs.  Claiming that I owed a company called Impact Cash for a payday loan taken out five years ago.  He claimed to be working with the local prosecuting attorney's office in my county and would be filing a lawsuit against me.  

What he didn't know is that I have a working relationship with the prosecuting attorney's office. I immeidately called them and they confirmed that this was an act of Fraud and that they couldn't collect for them as they were located out of my county.  She was also upset and concerned that they were using the Prosecutor's name with something like this and told me to tell them to call her directly with regards to this.

I am receiving the same type phone calls as the rest of you. They have called my sister and my place of work leaving the same type of messages. Everytime I try to call them back, I get a busy signal. My employment did get the number they were calling from thru caller id. It is in Chennai, India.

My sister just called me saying this number called her looking for me saying it was regardig a civil matter in the county where i live. i dont understand how they got her number to try to reach me. somthings just not right

I just got a message saying I have been served and i need to call them right back about a civial matter. This is like the 8th call from this number in about a month.

I have received several calls from someone claiming to be a courier and that they had papers they needed to deliver to me.

I attempted to call the number and they kept refusing to give me the physical address of the company and such.  I am going through a divorce and this is crap I don't need.

I received a call from a Stacey Bush stating that she was going to show up on my job and then my home to serve me.  I don't know what company that could be.

I received a call today froma guy named Chris telling me he is coming to my house to have me sign papers and i should have a wittness with me. And if i am not home they will go to my job. He never said where he was calling from.

FIRST I RECEIVED A RESTRICTED CALL FROM A GUY BY THE NAME OF TOM FARKAS ASKING FOR MY MOM. HE STATED HE WAS A PROCESSOR/SERVICER THAT DELIVERS LETTERS TO SERVE IN COURT AND THAT HE TRIED TO COME TO MY RESIDENCE BUT NO ONE ANSWERED. HE WOULDN'T TELL ME WHAT STATE HE WAS FROM. I TOLD HIM THAT MY MOM WAS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE SHE ONLY HAS 3 MONTHS TO LIVE FROM CANCER. HE TOLD HE NEEDED THE HOSPITAL NAME SO HE COULD SERVE HER PAPERS. I TOLD HIM HE COULDN'T DO THAT AND MY MOM CAN'T TALK. HE CALLED ME A LIER. THEN GAVE ME THIS NUMBER 1-855-869-2159 TO CALL AND TELL THEM THE SITUATION. HE WOULDN'T GIVE ME THE COMPANY NAME AND THAT I NEEDED TO SIGN FOR THE PAPERS. I TOLD HIM HAVE A GOOD DAY AND HUNG UP. I'M VERY UPSET FOR ONE I'M LOOSING MY MOM AND FOR TWO THIS GUY HAD NO REMORSE WHATS SO EVER. I THINK IT'S A SCAM AND FOR FUTURE REFRENCE TO WHOMEVER GETS THE CALLS. ASK THEM TO SEND YOU A DEBT VALIDATION LETTER, IF THEY WON'T OR DOESN'T WITH 30 DAYS THEN YOU CAN SEND THEM A CEASE AND DESIST LETTER.

I would like to know if anyone has information about this number 855-869-2159. They claim they are going to show up at my home and my sisters home for me to sign papers. Seriously,,,,,they left no information on whom or what company they are from. I called and told them take this number off of your list this is not my number. Of course I didnt say who I was but the funny thing is they "supposedly" removed the number. hmmmmmmmmmmm

So any info on this number would be great because am going to sue there a***s off! Am tired of swamp feeders it needs to end!
