My employee left me a message to call this number 855-885-9098 ext 709 to speak to Ronda of Office of Compliance and Safety. I dialed this number and she sounded like she was gonna sell me something. The line had a lot of static and she said she would call me back. Thanks for all the previous info

Ok we got a call from Ann Taylor from the office of Compliance and Safety Standards. My wife immediately said this was a scam and do not give her any financial information. After checking this out, it is a high pressure scam that some people will fall into. I called OSHA to verify the company "DOES NOT REPRESENT OSHA" or "WORK WITH OSHA" on any compliance matters.

Got the same call today from a guy named Les Davis.  What clued me in was the fact that he asked for the owner and didn't know my name.  I'm registered with the state, so if he was from our state OSHA office (Health Dept), he would have already known. Hubby has worked in OSHA, so I was pretty sure there would be a federal or state agency involved if they were legit.  When I asked which it was, he said "The office of safety and compliance."  I asked him if it was a sales call. He said "Do I sound like a salesman to you?"  Don't fall for this scam.  

same story as everyone above. got a call from Marisa. ext. 708. sounded legit until the very end where she wanted the credit card info. told her i would need a website to refer to and to talk to my husband since it involved money. she didn't really put up a fight at that point and just told me to call her back?.

Received a call from this number this morning insistant that the owner call them back.  Asked them to send the info in writting. She was very rude and stated the owner did not have a choice had to call her back.  Call from 855-885-9098 ext 709.  She states she was from Federal Compliance and the owner had to return her call.  I decided to look it up and takes to all the reviews the owner will NOT call her back and I am prepared for her next call. I received a call from this number from a lady who called herself Marie Jordan and said she was with the Office of Compliance and Safety posing as OSHA and her extension was 706. She called several times and I thought it was a sales call for fire extinguishers and etc so I didn't return the call. I knew it was an 855 number and felt It strange that if it was legit it probally would be handled thru my local state jurisdiction so I never returned the call.  After receiving many calls in the past couple weeks she finally called back on Friday of last week with basically a YOU HAVE TO CALL ME!!!!!   Sounded threatening and legitimate so I called her back on Monday and she was rude and said I had to register with her which I preceded to do. She then informed me that I would be receiving a kit that would have to be displayed in my new business and should have been put up 30 days ago...(we're not even open yet). She finished getting all of my personal information, then she dropped the bomb and said I needed to give her a credit card , check or whatever I wanted to pay with that it was a one time fee for life....she scared me into giving this information and the minute I gave her the info she was soooooooo nice!!!!!!!!   I found something odd about this since she had been so hateful on the voice messages she had left on my new business phone and immediately knew I had been scammed. I did some checking and this is a scam!  I had to change all of my banking info with new accounts. They tried to send it thru my bank  today and it tried to come thru as a draft and not even the check # I gave her...the company name was D & S Marketing NOT OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE & SAFETY!!!!! NOT OSHA!!!!!! After checking this out these forms and decals and etc are all available free on line thru the REAL OSHA WEBSITE!  Please do not be scammed by these people they r sitting in an office in Clearwater FL scamming us!!!!!!  DONT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!   GOOD LUCK MARIE JORDAN

Got a call from this number today.  Said they were from the "Office of Compliance and Safety Standards"  Wanted to talk to us about safety and compliance before our inspection.    Represented themselves as a government agency who was coming to do an audit.  Wow!

We have opened a new medical office, and we were contacted by this number numerous times. The rep named Jodi tried to pressure into talking to the business owner only. I was suspicious, but my business partner who was talking to her at that time gave her our financial info. We paid $189.

Don't fall into this trap. They are a scam as I have found out through this website.

My husband received a phone call from an "unknown" number.  We too have recently opened a business and have been bombarded with phone calls from telemarketers.  This call was from "Cindy Johnson" at ext. 1.  She tried to get his credit card information and said that we would be non-compliant if we didn't order the business pack.  $199 was the amount she said it cost.  Luckily my husband is always suspicious and told her he'd need her name and number and would call to verify. The number she gave was 855-885-9098.  Glad to find this forum to be able to warn others against these scammers!
 

Creeps...Just hang up on them or better yet block their phone number before they call you. Marie Jordan was the person that called me today.

I just received a call from a Marie Jordan VERY RUDE!!!!  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE THE TIME OF DAY!  I contacted OSHA and they do not have this company calling any business' for them!  ALL LIES!!!!!

Marisa Collins w/ the Office of Compliance & Safety advised me that OSHA contacts them when planning an inspection. That is a flat lie which I reported to OSHA after hanging up.

I too received a phone call from Nicia Berrien at this number. Anyone know of a better way to report these criminals. Thankfully, I went through legalzoom for all my start-up needs. Called them right after, and they said big fat SCAM. Good thing we're broke right now, cuz I almost paid it.

Received a call this morning from this number. We have received so many telemarketer calls lately that I refuse to give out any information. I wasn't sure if this was a legit call or not, but I didn't give out any info.

Please also be aware that you can get all labor law posters for FREE off the internet from the US Dept of Labor.  You do not need to pay for them!  This scam has been around for quite awhile.  You may also get crap in the mall that is scary - "You will be OUT OF COMPLIANCE!" and other rather intimidating things printed on the envelope.  There is one company who's notorious for doing this but I won't say their name here.  Any and everything that comes in the mail from them goes right in the shredder!!

We too received a call from this phone number.  We just opened up an auto repair shop last week, and have been bombarded with calls from all sorts of telemarketers.  Unfortunately, being a first time business owner, I believed I needed to be "compliant" I thought this was part of the State process, and that this outfit was associated with the state and went ahead and gave my information to a Marissa Collins at ext708.  The fortunate thing about this was that when they were trying to process the payment through my bank, they submitted the wrong account number, and my bank called me to inquire about a charge coming through from a D & S Marketing.  I attempted to call the number 855-885-9098 and kept getting voicemails, and offers to connect me to the "sales department" this was when I realized it was a scam, because why would the state have a sales dept, or a marketing account?  Thank goodness it was caught by my bank, and I didn't lose the $189.00.

I received a similar call from this number wanting me to pay over the phone a $189.00 fee for which i would be receiving my receipt via mail.  She was brief and quickly asked for my card info and i told her i would have to get back to her cause i did not have my card with me.  she insisted that she would hold and eventually agreed on me returning her call.  Can someone tell me if this are fraudulent calls?  The name she gave me was Nicia Berrien and her ext is 705

Got a call from them, missed and the lady left a voicemail with a call back number of 855-885-9098 ext 706. I called back and she tried to send out a package for some OSHA stuff. I told her that I didn't have any employees, so I didn't need any package. She was very nice and said she would take me off their list.

I received a call from the "office of compliance and safety standards" I have worked for many years involving the OSHA laws and never have I ever been told that I need to pay $189 per year to display a laminated sign. Our local health department takes care of that.

These people do not work for OSHA and try to hard sell people into purchasing OSHA posters. They are from Clearwater, Florida and the only legitimate OSHA offices are in Tampa, Jacksonville, and Fort Lauderdale. Do not be scammed.

Received a call directly from a person saying they were from office of compliance and safety standards.... wanting to speak to the business owner... this is a new line and I questioned what exactly they needed, she was not willing to provide the info.  She just said it was refering OSHA & Labor Laws.  I believe this is a solicitation call therefore, did not forward the information on.  When questioning further she would only give me her first name... Nicia at x705.  

They left a message for the "business owner" and said they were called from the "Office of Compliance and Safety Standards". Nothing more than that but I questioned how legit this was considering we installed a new business line 3 days ago, have not advertised the number yet we have gotten numerous solicitation calls.
