I agree 110% with the second comment. Do Not Call needs a name change: Does Nothing
(about any) Call.

This number in now blocked automatically when you ring your phone concurrently with your Google Voice number. Thanks Google for blocking known scammers.

THEY ARE NOT a foreign exchange agency the name of this Company is Emergency Medical Alert Systems...they state that they are a foreign exchange student agency due to they are  "thinking" by stating that it exempts them from the NationalDoNotCall center...doesn't matter who they are what entity they "think" they are...no one is exempt from calling ANY number that is registered  with the Nationaldonotcall center...
This number calls my mothers house several times per week. I have lodged a formal complaint against them thru the NDC center and they're still calling her number...Just keep complaining and call them and get firm with a human that will eventually answer(after prompt #2) and tell them to remove your number

Missed this call, no message left. I AM registered do not call. Previous posters do not seem to realize the do not call list DOES ALLOW CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS. One of which is nonprofit solicitation, which if foreign exchange student group is such, then caller MAY BE legitimate.

This number calls several times without leaving a message.  When calling the number back, a recorded message says they represent foreign exchange students and that they do not have to abide by the National Do Not Call List.  They do not identify the name of the company.

Either they put on their big boy pants and own up to who they are, stop calling or be fined to abusing the Do Not Call List.  

As a financial planner, I know the penalties are steep.  This company deserves to be fined.

I received a call from the number below at approximately 7:20 pm on Sunday, June 9 2013. I did not answer the call and the caller left no message. The website (http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-856-295-9793#commentForm) seems to indicate this is an illegal call to anyone on the Do Not Call list, which I am.

That's garbage about being exempt from the national do not call list - this is just a scammer like all the rest. What do they care whether they're legal. Report them here and to the National Do Not Call List Complaint form.
