refuses to identify themself.

I recieved a phone call from MRM and I told them that my grandson did notliv here and that I wanted my number removed from their calling list.  this happens alot and it is always the same companies that try this scheme about getting phone numbers of other people.

They keep calling my 86 year old mother, see lives in a senior center and doesn't have any bills or credit cards, they need to stop randomly calling everybody that has a same last name

Put academy collections in your search on your computer, read the article, they were fined by the government 2.5 Million Dollars for harassing and threatening people, file a complaint.

You bet it's against the law, I had this problem with a few of my employee's, I reminded them it is against the law and if they call again I would report them, none ever called back.

I just call my number aed them and they said they would take my number out. I have had this number 3 yrs and there is no Joseph here. They called me at 7:20 am, 7:50 am. The woman was very nice.

Been Receiving this call from this number 856-668-4528 or 856-668-4520 for about 3 months now  it's a recording asking for a japanese name from a collection agency and if I stay on I admit to being this person. I called my phone company to block the call but it came right back through and now a new number  it's 866 932-6805. They call all times of the day a random  I have to keep my phone on vibrate  because they will wake you up any day except on the weekend i don't receive a call on the weekend.
 I'm not sure what this is about  I don't answer my phone an more it it's important I figure they will leave a message  or a  I will recognize the number or area code.   only a handful of people have my number so  I do hope this problem is remedies very soon.

I received calls from this number 856-668-4528 or 856-668-4520 one or two times a day for almost two weeks now. Every time when I answered the call, I got auto message asking to hold on and wait for an agent. I don't think they got a right person but cannot stop them calling me.

I got the call from this number as well. 3 calls in the span of three hours! I got really mad and called them back and actually got a human answerer. I said they had called me almost since I got my new phone (almost a year). The calls always looked for some person named felix. They said they only had my number in their system for TWO WEEKS! I played along and just said okay please stop calling this is not the guy you're looking for and they said they will take my number out of their system(I confirmed they took out my number) no calls from them since.

I have been receiving calls on weekends, during mornings & evenings - pretty much any time of any day.  Every time I answer, there is background noise but no one is there.  I am really starting to get annoyed by this.  I guess I have to call my cell phone company and have this # blocked from calling me.  Just wish I knew why so I could give them a piece of my mind for harrassing me.

This call keeps popping up on my phone and I don't answer it because whoever it is so rude and doesn't leave a message.  I don't know who this is and I want it to stop.  I don't to be awaken in the morning by this number when I have an alarm clock that works fine!

Numerous calls from computer recording providing wrong name or no name at all.

Two days running, I have received call attempts from THIS number AND a sister number 856-668-4530. They acted as if they knew me but NOT!!

I listened to their automated voice mail crap and selected that it was the wrong number. Don't know if it will help but I am on a cell phone and have the ability to select a no ring as their ID sound so they won't be ringing me anymore. I also have conditional call forward to my home phone on which I have a very fancy caller ID system.  If they get forwarded there they then get forwarded to any number I select. For now it is the IRS. But I change it every few weeks to some other govt agency.  I think maybe the government will take action against them sooner or later because when the call goes to them it goes through just as the original did to me with the originator's caller ID. The govt agency will have no record of the forwarding.

Received a call from this number 8 times in the last 2 days...Everytime I answer, no one says anything.  There's an awkward silence for about 10 seconds then I hang up.

The one call I did receive and there WAS a person, he was "So and so from whatever collection agency"...Telling me I have an outstanding balance of $1200, and then asked, "Are you going to make the full payment today by credit or check by phone?"  To which I replied, "I'm not going to make any payments today, tomorrow, next month or ever!"  "Why?" He asked.  I Said, "because I don't know you, know what this money is owed for and don't trust your hindoo a**...There is nothing on my credit report about me oweing money."  I then hung up.

Why do collection agencies always put people on the phone who can barely speak English?  I have a hard time trusting people from outside the US with "Money I may/or may not owe".  It's like, instead of getting those emails that I won the Nigerian lottery and send all your info now to claim your money, they're doing it over the phone...Or at least that's how I feel.

I RECEIVED A CALL A WORK FROM A VERY RUDE WOMAN WHO STATES SHE HAD A CLAIM IN HER OFFICE. WHEN I TOLD HER I WOULD BE WILLING TO SEND PAYMENTS TOWARD THE CLAIM, SHE TOLD ME THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE. I TOLD HER I DIDNT HAVE A HOUSE OR ASSETS SHE COULD TRY TO SEIZE, AND SHE GOT EVEN MORE RUDE. ISNT ILLEGAL FOR A CREDITOR TO HARRASS SOMEONE AT THEIR WORKPLACE? WHERE DOES IT SAY I HAVE TO BE TREATED SO RUDELY WITH SUCH DISRESECT? I HUNG UP ON HER BECAUSE HER ONLY PURPOSE TO CALL ME WAS HARRASSMENT.
