Non stop calling

I got a call from this number 2 days after i bought a phone and had it activated. I do not owe this or any phone company money. When i called the number back i got a recording for about 4 seconds, which was cut off by an actual person who asked how they could help me. I told them that i was returning a call they made earlier in the morning. The woman said they were looking for so'n'so (the name was unintelligible). I told her I was not that person and that i just bought this phone/received this number. She apologized and said my number would be removed from their list. We'll see. I'll try to remember to post back here if they do call back. Good Luck to everyone else.

This company calls 5 to 6 times daily.  The cell phone company put me to them to collect the balance owed on bill for phone I cancelled.  Been making payments to the cell phone provider.  This collection company will call, if you pick up the disconnect and if  you call them back they will put you on hold forever or they disconnect.  If you can speak to an individual they are rude, demanding specific dollar amount to pay the bill in two months and if you tell them this is not finacially acceptable for you they just hang up the phone in your ear and then they call back and hang up.

Do you people not realize it's a collection agency? Putting your name on the "Do Not Call" list does nothing. You owe a company money. Their job is to collect said money. They do nothing wrong. Yes it's annoying, but you know what else is annoying? Letting someone borrow money without getting it back.

It would be one thing if I was the name they were asking for, and I actually OWED money. But I AM NOT HEATHER and I do NOT owe anyone money. So I went to an online lawyer after trying to get them to stop calling me (Obviously a mistake, since Comcast offered me a landline and the # wasn't disconnected from a deadbeat person who owes everyone money.) Most of the collectors said Ok sorry we will stop calling and they did. This one doesn't so I am hoping to get some $$ from them for the harrasment. It's against the law to keep calling after you have been told to stop!!!

857 264 3055 2x's a day, a computer generated message for a person who doesnt live here never has lived here. Seems to be a debt collector, dont know who with, But if you do pick up the call, it says "This is an important call for "NAME OF PERSON" press #1 if you are "NAME OF PERSON". then nothing. If you are not that person there is no way to speak with anyone. :( Reports say the it is Diversified Consultants a company for collections.

Getting calls everyday from this number 8572643055 and / or others with same sequence of numbers except for  last 2 digits.

I get the same scenario! This number has been calling for a few weeks now. No one on the other line. In the morning and in the evening. Nothing. It is most likely a robot call of sort. Anyone has a clue? Share.

hey u kno wat im having same exact problem ... u gut any ideas on how to stop it ??? im writing to the better busines bureau and also submitting a request by mail to get them to stop.. if all else fails i was thinkin lawsuit lol

This number call my landline every morning and evening at same times. If I picked the phone, there is a woman ovice saying 'if this is xxx, there is an urgent business...' then I hung up. They just keep calling! Hope there is a way to block certain harassing numbers.!!

They keep calling here and I  don't answer as I do not know the number or anyone in that area.

theese people call me at least three times a day and at first i wud answer cuz i got a new number but now i have them in my phonebook as "curry man" lol

It's Diversified Consultants from Jacksonville, FL. They are a collection agency for many cell phone and utility companies. I've had several go rounds with them. Yes, I owe them money. No, I am not paying it. They call me 6 times a day, as early as 7:30 in the morning, as late as 10 PM. They want $300/month until my bill is paid in full. They can drop back 10 and punt!

DO NOT CALL

I am receiving about 3 calls a day from them, asking for a person I don't know. I went to the routine, hitting 2 to say that I wasn't the person and then went on to tell them that it is the wrong phone number and that I want to be removed. 2 hours later these A**h***s called again and they haven't stopped. It's about 3 weeks of phone harassment now.

This company keeps calling and is very harrassing. I am on the do not call list and asked to be removed but still keep calling

Accidently hit the pickup button when I meant to silence.  Automated phone line asking for a person I didn't know.  Hit 2 to say it wasn't that person.  Went on to ask if I a) needed more time to get said person, b) said person was not there, or c) incorrect phone number and be transferred to a person to have it removed.  hit the third option, said it was transferring, heard "we're sorry" real fast and it hung up on me.


We'll see if they call again.

Called about 7:10 p.m.,Monday, 4-9-12. I am indeed on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I asked, "What are you selling", twice. Then, hearing no response, I said, "we press charges and we prosecute illegal callers".

They promptly hung up. I do intend to pursue this harassment, press charges, and prosecute.

received a call from this number even though I am registered on the NO CALL list.   No one responded when I answered.  The caller just disconnected.

it is like I am being stalked by these people. They call, I block, they call again with diff number to avoid my landline blockng feature. It is a game we are playing here to see who cracks.

Got a call from them today @ 12:15 pm, while I was at the library. Did not answer it, as I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.

Hang ups, no messages.

this firm is very haraasing....they use this phone number as well as 857-264-3048 and 264-3045.complain to ag office.

Call my cellphone at 5:15 AM every day from this and other 857-264-xxxx numbers. Never leave a message. My number's on the do not call list so I reported them.

Who's number is this. Call with different last four digit every 30 min. So annoying.
