This just happened to me at 4:39am. It seemed good at first. She asked me questions and I responded also asking her a few. I asked her how tall was she because that maybe an issue since the dress has been hemmed. Never responded to that.... Which would be a Hugh factor! She went straight into wanting my pay pal info... I knew right then something was up and googled the number. Don't do it!! Do not give them any info.ScamScamScam!!!!!!

My co-worker wanted to sell a wedding dress was just going through the same scam. The woman was very persistent and aggressive. We saw this site and said no. Beware!

Received a text expressing an interest in purchasing a vehicle that was listed on craigslist.  The buyer suggested he will include $2000 for shipping the car to the total payment through PayPal.  He then instruct me to transfer $1950 to someone through Western Union after receiving a confirmation of payment through PayPal.  Lucky reading the previous scams, I verified that there was no money deposited in my PayPal account.  They generated emails that seems like it is an official PayPal email.

I got a text from this number tonight wanting to buy a dress I'm selling. It got as far as them claiming to be sending me money thru paypal. I didn't know until after this that they were wanting me to pay $500 shipping up front before paypal would release the funds to me. Once I told them I could not do that they became very persistent and rude and were even using profanity in their texts. I got the email saying I had been paid and it appeared to be from paypal but when I forwarded the email to paypal for verification,  they confirmed it was a scam.

I am currently experiencing the same situation. Informed that I am not shipping the dress. Only face to face transactions.  

Same thing happened to my wife. This is do creepy and a huge scam!!!  Thanks for the heads up.:)

This is a huge scam!!!!!! I called this number and I could hear them but they would not say hello. They claim to want a dress that my wife is selling, but yet they wanted to meet for a shipping person to pick it up. I jumped in and said give me an address and I will ship. They refused so blocked them!!! Beware of this number!!!!!

They just text me too.  Thought it'd was odd so I didn't respond back after being persistent.

I had the same issue they claim to have sent me $500 for the dress and $500  for shipping because apparently there is no western union in california. Its too fishy i wouldnt follow thru with them

This number text me saying that they wanted to buy a dress that I posted on Craigslist. At first it sounded good. Then it got weird. They sent me an email saying that I had received $800. $400 for the dress and $400 for the shipping because they don't have ups, fedex or dhl. And they wanted me to go to Western Union and pay for the shipping to a freight company when they claim to live in California. Be careful. Good thing I did not pay anything. I went directly to my pay pal account and checked it and there was no payment made to me.
