I recently was looking for a place to rent in Alexandria Louisiana. I came across a nice house 3 br 2 bath. It was renting for 700 a month with a 600 deposit. I rode by that house multiple times in the am and the pm. There was always a vehicle there in the pm. He claimed it was the ex tenants . I became suspicious and did a little digging, I'm. a woman after all, and found this site and others...He sendt me the exact email and he was using james Kaiser . I research facebook and linkin ..I'm going to see how long this dummy wants to play ..Little does he know I have also spoken with the owners.

SCAM. Had ads on craigslist renting out a property. I found this property on other sites asking for much more. He said he had lost a family member and had to move quickly so they decided to rent it out as opposed to selling it and going through the whole waiting process. We emailed for over a week and after we filled out the rental application he sent me this email.
Finally,I have gone through your application details & everything is okay by me to rent my property, i will be doing a check up on you once in 4 months, to see how you are taking care of the place after you moved in & your move in date is okay by me. If anything needs to be repaired, all you have to do is contact me ,if i can get it fixed i will and if not I'll ask you to fix it and you will deduct it from the next month rent or i refund when i come pay you visit! You can as well move out any time, just inform me 30days before your decide.
We are very exited and willing to let you move in our house as soon as decide.i will send the lease agreement paperwork to you. Go through it carefully and subsequently append your signature if you adhere with terms. Return it back to me via email ASAP for us to proceed I already made conclusions on accepting payment for the security deposit this enables me to hold the space for you till whenever you are ready to move in so you move in as soon as you are ready. The package containing the keys and documentations will be delivered to you on a next day delivery Via DHL or EMS Courier Service to the address in the rental application or please where do you want the parcel to be delivered to? Here are the contents of the document that needs to be sent.
1) Entrance and the rooms Keys
2) Paper/Permanent house form
3) The house documentary file.
4) Full Description of the house
5) Payment Receipt.

The grammar seemed a little off and he was emailing me at 2 am all the time. I searched the number and found a bunch of sites he's on as well as multiple names hes used over the past 3 years - Aliyah, Perry Bock, Ronald Brown, Steve Ronald, James K Kaiser. The property he tried to rent to me was 135 Bridge st. Newton Ma.

Ronald Brown just tried to scam me also said he had a rental property in Duncan BC,l asked if we could view the home he said we could go look at the property because it is empty but we could'nt go inside because he lives in California and would'nt have a key to show us the place so we drove to property to have a look and thier were cars parked in the drive-way so l e-mailed him back and asked if the property was rented out and he said yes but they would be moving out once he found a suitable renter so l asked if we could make a arrangement with the current tenant to view the property he said no they would be disturbed so my spouse googled the phone number and found alerts about this # being scam artists.Beware they're very smooth

Yup, same thing happened to me only the house I checked out is in Victoria BC. The first email from "Aliyah" gave details of the place including the address of the home. The message she had sent me seemed legitimate and heartfelt. I checked out the place, loved it, and emailed her back with a few more questions. She got back to me without any answers to my questions. She just said that she had reviewed my application form and had chosen me for the rental. The message said that once I sent her the paperwork and deposit, she would send the keys. She also included her phone number and said to text her. I found that message to be oddly impersonal. I found it weird she had never called me by name, didn't answer my questions, didn't want to talk on the phone with me, didn't want a contact here to meet and assess me as a person, she wanted me to blindly send the money, and there were some grammatical errors in her messages that I found odd. I decided to google the phone number and this page popped up!! I had a bad feeling and wasn't going to follow through with it anyway, but this page confirmed it which is why I am adding my story. I reported the ad.

When I called the number back.. It was for google. Which means they either have an ipod or some google account that has a number connected. I have called the company.. emailed another company and will be in touch with RCMP tomorrow.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was told to send them money..and us being stupid and totally not thinking... sent it to them. But the site sent me an email telling me it was fraud..but a little too late. I am suppose to get a key tomorrow..and I just text them asking for the tracking number. I have not heard back and I always do right away. I also found this ad on 2 other sites, none of which were the same price or contact information.

Someone from this number tried scamming me into sending them money for a property they do not even own!! This property was in Regina, it is a house for sale actually and they made a separate ad pretending to rent it out, saying they currently live in texas and after I send them the deposit they will send me the keys ect. This is not real! Hopefully this will help someone else.
