UC San Diego has medical research going on so this might be legit but these callers are very aggressive and call call at unacceptable hours, so I doubt it. According to Verify.com this number is quite near San Diego State University.... in the La Mesa area. There is allot of Military around San Diego and I've been told they will always find ways to occupy their time. I did call the number back and got a recording. I did give my number and asked to be removed from the list. If this doesn't do it I'm going to file with the State and Federal DNC centers AGAIN and may contact the colleges.

They keep calling everyday for 2 weeks. No message left and I'm not  answering. I'm on the do not call list too.

Our number is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, and we a child care provider. Please do not disturb us.

These people have been calling on a daily basis--sometimes more than once. I never answer, and they never leave a message. If they had something to offer, why not leave a message?

"Vaccine Study" is the name that shows up on my caller ID when they call daily.  Finally today I answered.  "Nathan" told me that he was calling from the US Drug Administration and had important questions for me about vaccinations.  I assume they are taking some kind of survey.  I told him that I am not giving out personal information and wanted to be removed from the list.  Caller tried arguing with me and again I told him that I do not want to talk to the US Drug Administration and I want to be removed from the list.  He said, "that's certainly my prerogative but I won't get compensation, have a great day" ... Eyeroll.  We'll see if they call again.

For the past several days this number calls me up to 4 times a day, comes up vaccine study so today I answered with, please take me off your list and do not call me anymore.  The lady responded with, I don't actually dial your number and the best way to get taken off the list is to answer this question "Do you have any children in your household who are vaccinated"?  I said, I'm not answering any questions, so stop calling...sheesh.

I also keep getting calls from this number about a vaccine study. They finally called so many times I answered and asked them to take me off their list.  She said there was no list but if I just answered some questions that "maybe" it would stop them calling.  I told her I was not interested and to STOP CALLING ME.  They call every single day, sometimes more than once. I hope it stops soon.

The DNC does work as its intended to. Honest business's abide by it. Illegal callers, scammers and frauds do not, but then criminals don't obey laws do they?   If you want to sue and get money, then you have to bring your own suits on but then again, you have to be able to find them and a lot of the fraudulent calls now days are coming from foreign country's. Spoofed numbers .. hard to track and trace.

The DNC is about telemarketers though, it doesn't cover most survey's, political or charities. The only time it covers survey's is the ones that try to sell you something and trying to hide behind a survey. Debt collectors do not fall under it either.

Your State DNC may cover other areas though. You'd have to check your states DNC laws also. And, they can get into trouble if they do not put you on their internal DNC when asked to regardless.  And it is enforced.

I use this website just to see if others have any complaints about a number. So the DO NOT CALL LIST doesn't work. No surprise there. I have never heard anyone say it sure is working well. There's no money to be gained from violators and if there was it goes to the government not you or I who deal with these unwanted calls. My only real complaint about this number is the person that called me was so slow asking me the questions. Almost painfully slow.  

I received my first call from this number today. The CID showed "Vaccine Study" so I ignored it since it appeared to be a questionable call. No message left on VM. I will put it on my blocked list. I would think that if this is a legitimate organization making this call they would 1. Call on a week day, 2. Leave a message and 3. Have a legitimate toll free number to call from. I think it is just another scammer.

This number has called once a day for the past four days.  It's getting a little tiresome.

Every night at 7:30pm, I never answer and am on the do not call list. It is ridiculous.

I have gotten 2 calls from this number in the last 2 days.  The first one was at 8:39 last night.  (people need to get a life!)  Says "vaccine study" on the caller ID.  I did not answer, and no message was left.

Asking them to stop has done absolutely no good at all.  I have asked them very nicely every evening this week (now Thursday) to please stop calling us.  I ignored them all last week.  The next evening they call again with a different person.  It is so frustrating.

This one is actually legit although not from the CDC. It is M/A/R/C Research. They are conducting a study for a pharmaceutical company Sanofi Pasteur on Hib and pertussis.

If they truly are a survey, as they claim, they are exempt from the do not call list.  That only applies to commercial enterprises trying to sell you something.  In their infinite wisdom, our legislators chose to exempt: 1) survey calls, 2) non-profit organizations, and (in self-serving interest) 3) political candidates.

Telling "us" to STOP does no good.  You have to answer the phone and tell "them" to stop!

Does that comment help anyone?  Presumably everyone that is searching for this number also "missed a call from...".  Why else would we be looking them up?  Please provide only useful comments.

They have called several times over the past few days.  I finally answered.  After a brief pause, a live person came on and pleasantly said that they were conducting a survey about children's immunizations.  She asked to speak to the person that takes care of that for this household.  When I told her that we had no children, she said "sorry to bother you...goodbye". Sounds to me like some sort of call center.  They may call about other issues.  I would encourage others that receive a call from this number to at least answer and see what they have to say.  You can always hang-up, but if you don't answer, they will just keep calling back.

They have called 3x. The latest this morning - SUNDAY.  So a note to "Vaccine Study" : Even if you are legit, I won't be :answering your calls. I don't want any "research" calls especially on a Sunday. Your number is now blocked.  Oh - we don't have any kids either.

Get calls from this number at least once a day.  Will not answer.  Very annoying.  They never leave a message.  I know it is some type of telemarketer.
