Hung up after I said hi. I do have some old credit card debts, mostly with cease and desist orders. Of course, I also have a phone system with a firewall =) *32# and they can never call again.

I'm pretty sure this was someone trying to check up on me.

Same thing. Couple times now. Asks me how my city is treating says he'll save me a seat on the beach and hangs up. Creepy guy.

Called me by name.
Asked how my town is treating me.
Said I should come to San Diego and go bungee jumping.
Then he said it sounds like I'm busy and hung up.

This guy had a southern accent but the caller id said San Diego.  He called me by name after I had answered by using my name,  He was laughing and sounded like he knew me.  He could very well have been saying something about bungee jumping - I couldn't make out what he was saying other than it was a question.  I asked him to repeat and he actually did repeat it but then hung up on me.  Very odd.

same thing... asked me if that was my name..said yes...he said to come out to San Diego and he would go bungee jumping...then said something like " and bring a brick"... then he promptly hung up the phone...I have all my phone lines blocked so no mysterious charges can be added so I am not concerned... he was probably checking to see if the # matched the name... I probably will get some BS marketing material in the mail in the next few weeks..pens etc... very strange

same thing here about bungee jumping.  Wonder if he is trying to check phone number matching or record response

same here except whoever this is called me at work. they hung up as soon as i said hello.  i'm guessing they only engage in conversation unless you're female.

Smae thing...Guy called and asked to talk to me, then proceeded to tell me that I should go to San Diego, so he could take me bungee jumping. He then mumbled something I didn't understand and hung up.
