Even I am getting calls from 9643217961. Looks like they have secured series of mobile numbers. Even this lady asked me to contact RC Gautam. Strangely i dont have any outstanding or relationship with Reliance. Seriously thinking of submitting a compliant with Commissioner of Police, Chennai.

I too received a call from 9643218015 telling me that some cheating case has been filed against me in Delhi high court and to speak to advocate R C Gautam.  When I spoke to him, he mentioned about some outstanding amount towards Aircel postpaid connection.  When I asked him for details of the bill etc., he said that since the number is deactivated, details cannot be provided and I need to pay the outstanding of INR1408/- in the next 2 hours in an aircel store.  I told him that I have neither got any bills nor any letter/email etc on this and I cannot make the payment simply on the basis of a call.  He said then he will file the case in Court and besides the bill amount, there will also be a penalty of INR28,000/-.  I am not sure how can an advocate threaten public?

Hi I also got similar call  from one lady from the number 9643218018 and asked me to contact R. C. Goutam, contact number 09643217970 regarding some case in delhi high court.

When I called this no., I lady claiming to be the receptionist of this lawyer told me there is a case against me. When I told them they have incorrrect information, she told me ok police will verify this now.
I just searched on google after this call for R C Gautam and found this link.
After reading what other people have mentioned, can't believe these people are still doing it

Hi All,

I also recieved a call today from 8802371975 to call some RC Gautam (9643217969) for a case getting registered and settlement. I tried to dial but was not able to reach. I have used a reliance connection some 3 years back and these guys were so dull in service that inspite of number of follow ups they didnt disconnected the service and took 3 months. Though i have cleared all my outstanding which i was liable to.

I called the the lady again and inquired the below, her name and address as per her:

Hi I also got similar call today from one lady from the number9643217973 and asked me to contact R. C. Goutam, contact number 088023566657 regarding some case in delhi high court. I have not contacted him yet.

Firstly any court will  never give permissions to any advocate to call or threat  anyone this is the  new method adopted by telecom providers .... they given contact to recovry agents who calls u and presents them as advocates and police officers... dont get panic by receiving theirs calls.. these all are fake and they get commission on your paid by getting transaction or bill no. Paid by you. I also worked for 2 years in cjm infosystems  at  delhi as recovery agents and later then I kicked dat job...so njoy nd dont worry there is nothing true in theirs matter.... 1 representive call  u as a advocate and other will be inspector, , inki maa ki aankh

I too received the same call from No. 09643161075 that a case is filed against me in Delhi Court and i should contacts Mr. R.C. Gautam No. 08802553876. On calling him he told that u need to pay Rs. 1130.00 before 2:00 pm to avoid any legal issues. The No. they are saying on which bill is due was closed for past 3 yrs and that too was a prepaid number. Now how can there be a bill on Prepaid No.

I also got the call from some one and directed to call to Mr.RC Gautham avout due bill of Reliance.

Today i got the threatening calls from the 7503940870, 08802216551 stating that i have not paid DATA CARD Bill and subject to penalty of Rs. 20,000/- which is totally false and irrelavant to me. This has created nuisance. someone has to take serious action on this.

I have received a call now from 7503897115, Saying that a cheating case is reported in Delhi Court, Chamber 7. he mentioned the name of Mr. R P Goutham. I told that my legal adviser will reach you. Then he disconnected the call. Pls be proactive and initiate the complaints. Otherwise many innocent people will get tensed up and loose money for these idiots.

I too got a call. After searching i came to know that this is regarding reliance Payment. I still remember i asked reliance to either troubleshoot the techinacal problem of their broadband or disconnet it. They refused to do both and again started to send the bill which i refused to pay. So after getting this call i told them like we can see in court.

Today i received a call from +91-8802 371150 and a lady spoke to me in Hindi. She said, there has been a complaint filed against me in Delhi consumer court and to know the details i would need to call up +91-8802356657 Advocate RC Gautham and also i need to contact him within 10 to 15 mins or else my file would be moved to legal dept for action. She gave me a file number DL 804. I called this guy RC Gautham to check on what is the issue. He said, I need to fly to Delhi tomorrow to know the details of the case. If i do not come to delhi he would issue a non- bailable warrant and would send it to the near by Police station and ensure my arrest.
I asked him, until i know the details of the case i would not be in a position to travel and more over i need to consult my lawyer. When the conversation was going on he asked me where i lived?. This took me in a surprise and i asked him since you have filed a case you should be knowing the details. He said for verification purpose. Then i asked him to provide his Advocate ID so that i can verify it before i provide the details. With this he said he knows what needs to be done and hung up the phone.
On curiosity i just googled the phone number and could see that this is being happening for lots of people and not only me.

It is seen that the cash has to be paid to Reliance. So it is a new game played by Reliance. I wonder why it does not get into the newspapers? It is a major news item.

I had taken a Reliance Broadband Connection almost 1 and half year back or so. My first bill was more than it was supposed to be. Upon inquiry, I revealed that the plan that was shown to me by reliance sales person was different than the plan that I was charged for. This was because either (i) a mis-representation was made by the sales person to me, or (ii) some error/mistake was done while entering data in reliance's database regarding my plan/billing. Reliance people did not agree to admit this mistake and asked me to pay the amount which, obviously, I denied. All this happened somewhere in February 2012.


Thereafter, today i.e. on 29/11/2013, at 1152 hrs., I received a call from +918802189672. The lady on the other side told herself to be one Priyanka Sharma, Asst. of one Mr. R. C. Gautam, Advocate, Delhi High Court. Said Priyanka told me that a case of cheating (dhokha-dhadi) is being filed against me in Hon'ble Delhi High Court by Adv. Mr. R. C. Gautam and to stop that and to get the details I should call on 08447122793 i.e. the number of Adv. Mr. R. C. Gautam. This call continued for 04 mins 07 seconds.

I called said number by 1158 hrs. The person receiving the call told himself to be Adv. Mr. R. C. Gautam. He told me that a case will be filed against me if I do not pay the reliance bill of Rs. 1,000/- plus something within few hours. He gave me my file number as 901/12DC. He asked me to make payment of outstanding amount on the my reliance billing account number 100000119265873. The first call to Mr. Gautam was disconnected in between so I called him back by 1202 hrs. The first call Mr. Gautam continued for 03 mins 54 seconds and second call continued for 00 minutes 31 seconds.

Later on after some time said Priyanka Sharma again called me from said no. +918802189672 (by 1225 hrs) to ask the status. Here we had exchange of words which resulted in my decision of not paying and her decision of proceeding against me. This call continued for 01 min 55 seconds.

The tones of said Priyanka and Mr. Gautam were very high and rude during the calls.

As a curiosity, I searched for Adv. R. C. Gautam, Delhi on Google. In result, I found that there are a lot of posts by many people complaining that they have received fake calls, etc. in the name of Adv. Mr. R. C. Gautam on behalf of Reliance, Tata Indicom, etc.

This is ultimately resulting in giving wrong messages about these telecom companies, and about advocates also to the general public.

If there is any dispute, as in my case, then that can be resolved by following proper procedure established by Law and these types of measures should not be adopted by anyone.

Hence, as a citizen of India, and also being an advocate, I feel it to be my duty to make you all know about all these things which should be prevented to maintain the dignity of all concerned.

Same thing with me.  Got a call at morning 11:00 from a lady named priya sharma working as registrar (As per she told) in delhi high court. Se said that there is a fraud case on me filed by reliance communication and asked to call adv. R.C. Gautam on 8447122793 regarding issues & he will give the case details. I called on this number and experienced a person talking in very rude & aggressive language stating that I have to pay rs.950 within next one hour in nearby reliance office else delhi court will fine me rs.15000 and local police will reach at my door. I remembered in past was using a reliance connection that I had closed in 2007 by clearing all dues & returning their instrument. Because of I have to relocate.
I was buzy in office and very much disturbed in work. Then I talked with my advocate friend and told all details. Then he called that person (adv rc gautam) & started talking in legal language. Immediately this fake person (adv rc gautam) cut down the call and not picked my friend's call again. I think this is external agency working in unethical way for reliance. They are using mobile numbers 8802492947(priya sharma) 8802553876, 8447122793 (rc gautam). I dont know how to take action on this numbers regarding such a harassment???

Just received a call from Priya Sharma, and she told me that the case is registered and i need to contact RC gautam, my husband called gautam and spoke to him and he told that 1400/- is pending against reliance datacard bill, and needs to be paid immediately & later again that lady called and told me that it has to be paid immediately otherwise poloce will come to my home,, what is all this nonsense i dont understand.

For 1400 rs they are calling 1400 times from difference different numbers and its been 3 yrs that i have stopped using reliance and cleared all bills, i dont understand why are they calling me now

after two to three years again calling from dummy numbers and pitching against me that to pay.
dont believe these it happens only in india because of technology innocence.....

I found this certain call from assistant of R.C.Gautam really harrassing. I am in office and cannot shout in the best laguage that these people deserve. Reliance broadband did not disconnect my broadband and now these guys are harrassing me. I am sure they cannot do so legally. Guys please tell me how to take legal action against such people. I really need to take reliance communications to court for such threatening calls and mental torture. Today after getting the call, am totally convinced that this is a big fraud.

asking me to pay Rs.15,000 for reliance broadband for not to pay bill of Rs 1390 only , which i already paid.

I also got same call, I checked my account details from rcom office they told me my all dues was cleared. and connection was closed successfully 4 years before.
I don't know where but we must a file complaint against them for mental harrassment.

Also they contacted me on my current mobile no. which have no chances to get it from reliance as i was in Pune 4 years back and they are quoting for that perios which with great difficulty i was able to get rid of by involving there senior most persons in reliance
