I believe this is fake. Watch out! A female caller trying to get money 858-776-3220

Came home to this number on caller ID -- left no message.

I have been called at home numerous times by a female asking for my husband and mis-pronouncing our name.  I stated that I was his wife and could I take a message.  The caller always hangs up.  I hit star 69 after the last call (8/14/10 at 9:08 AM) and found that the number that called me was 858 776 3220.  I called and heard a recorded message that said only to enjoy the music while the  call was being routed.  A female voice finally answered by saying only "hello". It sounded like the same voice that had just called me and hung up on  me.  I asked if this was 858 776 3220. She said yes.  I asked what number this was for.  She said it was her cell phone. I asked why was she calling us and who she represented.  She said merely "this is a child abuse charity."  I asked her to stop calling and that calling, mispronouncing our name, not leaving messages, and hanging up on me was no way to elicit our charity."  I suspect this is a fraudulent attempt to get money since she never once ID'd her organization's name and the calls were so amateurishly and annoyingly handled.
