What kind of phone do you have? Maybe I should get one too.

Unfortunately, Ohio is not on this list.

I am curious about the call block service you mention -- assume it is for VOIP phone services?

These people keep calling about my surgery several years ago. I really think that they may be part of an attorney's office looking to sue someone. I asked them how they got my number they just kept on asking me questions. Finally I made them made and they hung up on me. Apparently there is no sense to being on the do not call registry because I still get these kind of phone calls. Very annoying when you pay for an unlisted number and these people are allowed to get your information and call you. Where is our privacy that these people can get our medical records???????? What happened with the laws against this sort of thing?????

I had neck surgery 15 months ago and have received repeated calls from this and other numbers identifying themselves at the medical department. I got on the government "Do not call" registry but still got another call today. They need to be shut down. And how did they get my personal phone number?

I have received repeated calls from this number for the past three years saying they can get me a sum of money for my bladder sling which I don't have. THIS IS A SCAM. I wish there was something that could be done about these people to get this stopped.

I received a call also from a foreign accented man. Seemed to have alot of info on me and also got my gmail address. Said they would call back in 24 to 48 hours. Said I was eligible for compensation from my bladder surgery. Said they were a support center for Medco! Can't believe I fell for it until I figured I'd check the number on google! To late now...but I learned! Beware!!!!

Thank god for "block this caller" feature on my iPhone

Your post has me concerned. This number has been coming up on caller ID at least twice a day for the past 3 weeks. I did see a urologist within the past couple of months and the kind of info you were asked for is not only concerning re HIPPA regs but the fact that the subject matter may have been obtained by unlawful means.

Just FYI recently these people are also using a number for Dallas Texas, 972-348-0245.

I've learned not to answer numbers I don't know, and when I heard many voices in the background, I knew it wasn't family or friends I have in KY. I just logged the number into my 1000 number call blocker I researched and found on the internet. This thing has been GREAT!! Beats the DNC. Of course it costs about $60 bucks, plus you have to have caller ID on your land line, but the wife and I agree it is well worth the money spent with all the spam/scam/wrong number calls. We can actually eat, watch TV, have a conversation, then we see caller ID, "Oh look! we had a call." Phone doesn't ring once on blocked numbers. I have a bunch blocked and a whole lot of room left for more.

Send the mail back to them "return to sender" or "Refused" and report the calls here:
By State DNC lists:
http://www.donotcallprotection.com/do_not_call_chart.shtml
Federal:
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1
https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2
Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

"HOUSE CALLS" is harassing us again, no matter how many times we've said no or how long we've ignored them, they continue their coercive insistence?. they are also now sending us little notices in the mail about their "complimentary free service".
i have a few free compliments i'd like to freely service them with too. not that it would do a bit of good :P
this is a new # they are using now

I received a call from this number today. The caller had such a thick accent I could barely undrstand him. (Indian I think) He said he was with the medical department, I asked who's - he asked about a surgery but I couldn't understandmost of what he was saying. When I asked to speak with someone with less of an accent he hung up. Can't imagine what benefit they get from these calls.

About reducing my rates for something, messg. is left daily on my answering machine.
It's cut -off, so don't know who exactly is calling. Press 1 if you want to reduce your rates, Press 3, if you no longer
wish to receive these messages. I *69d to get the number, but it's possible, another spam caller called after this
number, I don't know.

I also received a phone call from this number with similar questions. They did have some of my medical information though. How did they get this info??? Who should this be reported to?

SCAM ALERT:
The caller said they were calling from the United States Medical Department. Immediately I knew it was bogus. They had my first name correct. And then said they are calling about my bladder sling surgery...which I have not had done. I told him it wasn't me. Then he asked if anyone in my family had a hip replacement, bladder sling, or something else. I told him my family's medical information is none of his business. Then I asked if he had a HIPA statement for me to sign before I share any medical information. He had no clue what I was talking about. Then I asked for his supervisor. He said, "I don't have time. Just tell me if you or a family member have had...." That's when I interrupted and told him that unless he has a HIPA statement we are done.
