They are crooked as a dog's hind leg.  A guy in my office "settled" with them for about a third of the actual debt, but it never came off his credit report and he couldn't even get a mortgage because of that.

And a couple of weeks later he started getting revised debt collection letters, claiming he still owed the rest of the debt.  In other words, this "settlement" was completely phony.

It's a pure scam, a real racket run by a bunch of illegal aliens.

Same thing as evryone else, they called left message saying it was not a telemarketer or debt collector.. They got my name right, as far as the other info. Well, it was someone else.... I have a 750 score and don't owe anyone money! I'm a finance guy at a car lot & it would be pretty embarassing if I didn't up keep my credit!  I'm sure they'll call again from time to time just by matching my name to my number as they try to look for the other me(same name) who doesn't pay his bills. Don't give out your personal info. Match what they have againts yours! Good luck

Wow.... These people are a total fraud from beginning to end. First Mr. George Ramirez calls me and says he works for Galaxy Capital Recoveries and they have a great deal for me on an old debt. I told them I would give them $2500 cash because it was all I had. Including my rent money and money that I use to buy my 6 month old child his diapers and milk. But no they said it was not enough and they wanted $3500, this is after I offered to give them everything I had. Well they called and called my JOB, even had me paged over the loud speaker, to only tell me that they are waiting on my call. Well I again told them that I had offered to give them everything I had but they didnt want it, so basically there was nothing I could do. Well Mr. Omar Bracamontes "The Manager" decides he wants to get into a shouting match with me to see who can speak the loudest. Well after a couple of minutes of that he decided to hang up. Fine...... I called back and I asked to speak to him again and low and behold he now he works for International Risk Management, not the original Galaxy Capital Recoveries. Well I told him I was going to get my lawyer involved and all of a sudden he no longer wants to disclose information regarding his company because he longer is at liberty to speak freely regarding his company. These people are a total fraud..... They are trying to scam you into sending them money when in reality the debt will continue on your credit report. These people need to be reported to the correct authorities and be closed down.

This company has been robot dialing my house multiple times a day for months now, and the person they're looking for doesn't live here and hasn't for years.  Its an automated call and gives no option to indicate its a bad number.  I sent certified cease and desist letter to the River Exchange Drive address provided on this site and my letter was returned as "Undeliverable."  They are driving my family insane, and I don't know what to do at this point.  Anyone have any success at getting contact info for these jerks?

They have called over 25 times about someone  that does not now or have ever lived here.  It cost me money on my tracfhone for each call recieved.  Why aren't these harassing people put in jail?  I owe no bills and can't make them stop calling.

The bank already charged it off and what can Bill collectors really do to you? Threating you over the phone, I laugh at them and it has nothing to do with paying your bills. There many situations that could happened to you and a lot of time banks or what have you ripped you off in the first place with late fees, interest rates and more. Why do you think there is such a big problem now with the credit industry and the banks are faltering from their sketchy business practices. So no bill collectors calling me will have NO luck unless you come to my house and try to beat my a**. They suck my balls.

As i told u, I know someone there....he told me people that pay the full debt are just stupid cause you can pay even 25% of your debt but they want to collect big amounts to get bonuses and that for law they cant make you pay all, just a portion cause  the bank just take those accounts lost so they want to collect something, so don't let them play with your money!

I have received calls from this company.  I told them several times not to call me.  The man (Miguel) states that he is going to keep calling until he talks to me.  I told him he was talking to me and that I was NOT going to discuss anything with him.  My State Collection agency Board told me to send a certified letter asking them not to call and they have to comply.  A lot of trouble, but oh well, I hope it is worth it.  From what I can tell  they are a "scavenger" collection agency that buys old debts that are "timed out" or can no longer be legally collected, they will harrass you and do anything to get money from you. I will make them wish they had not kept calling me because I will be as rude as necessary to them on the phone.

Been getting 2-3 calls per week on home/work/cell phones for the past couple of weeks. It is a pre-recorded message with someone wanting me to return their call about a healthcare program that I am pre-approved for. They leave a number to call for more information but no option to be removed from their list.

My wife gets calls from these people 7 days a week in the afternoon and evening. We have contacted them on several occassions to let them know that they are calling the wrong number asking for a person that we never heard of.
They deny that we are being called and say that maybe we are getting calls from someone else...not them! But the caller ID # is 866-246-9483
Has anyone been successfull getting their number removed from their list?

Why hasnt anyone been able to stop them from harassing?
We are going to send a certified letter to what they tell us their address is:

Their fax # is: 770-613-5036
Their address:
3295 River Exchange Drive
Suite 240
Nor Cross, Georgia 30092

What do you do when it's not your damned debt and they keep calling for someone you do not know. They have my number looking for this person; I have returned calls and left message that they are not at this number. You can't ever get a hold of someone to actually speak with them; you can't send them anything in writing to make them stop because you can't find their address. Hell, you can't even file a complaint with the FTC because they won't do a damned thing about it!!!!!!!

They have left several messages over the last few days. I think they are calling about an old debt that has been written off. They mumble so you cant hear the name of the company they are calling from. They ask for other family members besides me and say that "this is not a solicitor or collector" which is of course a lie. Called them back once but never spoke to a person, just a recording that gave no information. If anyone has their address Id appreciate it so I can send them a cease and desist letter.

These guys are the worst. One in particular is particularly rude and leaves me messages that insinuate he's a lawyer.  He says that he's "calling on behalf of a client".  He also has mentioned something about "papers" in a way that hints that he'll be serving me with papers without actually using correct verbage.  His tone is one of superiority, condemnation, and disgust.  Although it was unnerving at first, common sense says that a REAL lawyer would probably leave a name (his or his firm) on the message.  I dunno, I just have a thing about calling rude, arrogant SOB's back when I don't know who they are or why they are calling me-- even if they do threaten that it would be in my "best interest" to do so...
By the way, it's ANGEL, not angle, dumbass.

they called me too. i think the comments i read above about paying off your debts, or you shouldnt have a credit card are coming from them because they know people are reading up on them through the internet. they cant hide there. many times i have caught scams, this is definately another one, it is not a collctor of the dent, they buy your information from a lead company, your name, info, and number are bought by them, then the cycle it through a call center and auto dialer....then once you pick up, or call them back, the live transfer happens and about 50% of the imte someone might actually pick up the call. they do buy enough info they can actualy collect on you from old debts but the money does not go to it, it is posted to your credit, but the amount is not erasing the old dings, or rectifying it. just adds points to your credit as if it looks to be helping, so when you apply later for something like a vehicle, the finance mgr or said financing company thinks it is the same loan yu cleared or paid on....scam...scam....scam.....report them, send a letter, and if they are a true collctor, they will not have any problems giving you their name, direct lines, address, account # you can reference, the company that they are collecting on, etc...but these people do, they are trained call center staff and most likely in a small room rented in a large building about the size of a closet....dont give them money.....you will be losing your mind when yu cant get it back and it legally does nothing for you but pay for new points on your credit, as if you paid them to add a fake loan to your credit that you never applied for.....good luck.....

I know what you guys are talking about, I received a call from that phone number, the weird thing is that they were talking about and old debt that I had back on 2006, I originally owed to them like 6000.00$, I called them back and had this paid off, they offered me a settlement for 2500.00 which was even less of the original debt,  they're not a scam. Take advantage of them !!
