I got a call from 1-866-300-0378 four times in a row then 1-866-404-4370 four times  what and who the f***?I don't bother even answering these but if anyone knows who what where how and or why leave a comment please for all us in the dark.p.s. what are scan calls?

same thing happened to me lol i just googled it and all of u people are going through the same thing so now that i know that im not answering to that number plus my phone aint free till 4 o clock so i wont answer it anyways

Well frankly I'm sick of this!  Numerous calls, at least 4/day in fact, coming from this #!!!  Who the hell is this?  No one seems to know.

This number have been calling me for a week now, every day, three times a day!

I got couple of phone calls from the same number,
i talked to phonebuster for complaining this and they said, they are in USA, trying to get your information and then they gonna use your financial information for wrong purpose,
2nd the lady said, they might be in some other country like Nigeria or Africa Ghana, so don't ever give them information,
There is a trick to get rid of these calls.

When they call you, and you are connected with them, just keep hitting # as many time as you can, what it will do, it will kick out your number out of their DataBase, this is what Phonebuster customer service representative told me, I think it worked for me.

keep getting phone calls from this number im starting to get pissed off i tried to call telus to block it and they cant block 1-800 numbers this is ridiculous

got a call yesterday twice, first i missed the call then second time i answered said hello no answer and hang up after 2 seconds. i called the number back and it was busy.

i have been getting calls too and finally someone spoke. they said i had won a 250 giftcard or a cookbook because my name was especially selected from i think ing insurance. i said i dont have insurance with them. then i asked how did they get my name and she said if you have one of the three major credit cards my name enters automatically. as soon as i laughed at this she said have a good day and click!

I was silly enough to give my cell number online on friday and it's monday and I have received 3 calls from this number. They have hung up each time.
Frustrating.

You may want to file a complaint each time they call you, too. The more complaints, the more this matter will be taken seriously.

I've been getting calls from 866-300-0678 (three times today, twice yesterday). As soon as I answer, the call is disconnected. I called the number, and received a recording that said, "You've reached customer service. You will be contacted shortly."

The police advised that I should contact PhoneBusters at 888-495-8501 to file a complaint. I suggest as many people as possible file a complaint...

Not all 866 numbers are a scam.  My toll-free business line is 866.  The only reason for 866 is because all the other 800 numbers have been taken.

This number has been calling me for the last two weeks and SEVERAL times a day.  And like everyone above:  If I answer, they hang up.  I try to call back, the phone number can't be reached.  If I don't answer the phone, they  just keep calling back.  Very annoying.

Any suggestions?

they called me at 8:45pm on my cell phone.  its the 4th call in 2 days and every time the call lasts only 2 sec.  I called the number and long distance charges aply, and the line was busy (probably hanging up on more ppl)
