I think the number is legit.  I told them to verify they were Sprint and they were able to provide my plan information based on the phone number I give them.  Ask them to provide the type of account you have and the last 4 digit of the lines on your account.  That persuaded me and I felt better.

I've gotten 2 calls from this number, both at 7:30 in the morning!  The second time, I answered it, and they hung up.  This is not Sprint.  They would not be calling at 7:30 in the morning to simply check up your service.  It sounds like an attempt to phish your account info.  Do NOT call them back or give them any of your info.

Again, THIS IS NOT SPRINT.

I have emailed a complaint to sprint and to the BBB.  I am getting as much as 5 or 6 calls a day.  Today I actually answered and the guy was actually rude.  I kind of went off and told him he needs to learn respect and how to talk to people on the phone if you are calling someone for a sale you would not use their first name, unless you used Mr/Mrs and the first and last name.

It is best if you do not even answer calls from this number. If you answer, then they have a record of a "live" number and what time you answer. This info can then be sold to other telemarketers. Don't answer!

This number just called me..they said they were just calling to make sure everything was going okay with my service. Then they told me that I was eligible for 100 dollars off on a phone. I have read in many other blogs that it was a scam and that it was sprint. So right now I am very confused.

This is a SPRINT NUMBER AND NOT A SCAM!!!. If you would take the time to listen to the call you would know. people need to stop going by what someone says and take the time to do your own research.

Seeing I just switched phone providers (went from Sprint to ATT), it does not surprise me that Sprint would call my phone.  I've started receiving these phone calls as soon as I switched.  Sprint or scam, best thing is to not answer.  I have a "reject" option on my phone that allows me to type in phone numbers, and if they call, the call will not go through.  So far, it's been pretty quiet.

We verified that this is indeed Sprint. We called back the number and spoke with a person who identified themselves as a Sprint employee.  They had information which only Sprint could know.

Two days later, we called *2 on my wife's Sprint phone to talk to Customer Service.  We asked them to check on the call made from her phone to 866-330-1105, and verify that it was Sprint Customer Service.  They affirmed that the number was indeed Sprint.

Was bugged for several days by the phone call with NO message, finally had a day to call THEM BACK.   Got a lady claiming she represented SPRINT and was located in Virginia (?)  Same as the others  - are you hAPPY with your sprint service blah blah blah.   Then she asked me for my sprint number -  Later I said to myself "why would sprint NOT have my SPRINT cell number??)  after all she had contacted me on my LAND line 301 code To make matters worse, I gave her my pass word and then finally wised up before I gave her my PIN.

In then called SPRINT (hopefully the real thing) and they claim ignorance of  the 1-866=330-1105 number BUT = and here's my advice.....   If you were trusting as I was,   please CHANGE YOUR PIN and Password for you own good

My wife and I have had the worst service from Sprint. This is not a comparison to other c-phone services; I mean comparing them to any type of company.  Any type!  Their stores have least informed, rude, greedy jerks ever to stand behind a cluttered counter! I'm sorry ladies but females are just as pathetic as the males. I tried calling to avoid exposure in person. Thinking it might be an alien mind control thing; but alas, it had already spread to through the entire U.S. employee roster.  And when I happened to have made a call late and realized I was trying to communicate with a guy making 18 cents an hour, that it was international!  Now like many of you my contract will soon be over.  And you guessed it.  Calls have come early and late and often. My wife answered once and what she described has been covered by previous comments. Comments made by the decent American consumers who are not trying to hurt anyone.  But insulted at the end by these disrepectful phone calls decided it was in the best interest of Sprints future prospects to be forewarned.  As Americans we deserve better service
after a contract is signed. God bless!

called my husband who shares a cell phone plan with me asking for me. Said it was Sprint and asking about account updates... said it was a courtesy call. I asked them to not call me again and take me off their list and they said that it may take a couple weeks.

I have received the same call about once every other month.

The number is a 3rd party that has been contracted out by Sprint.  I called the regular Sprint number and they confirmed this.  I personally dont feel comfortable dealing with these "contractors" so the Sprint rep told me to dial 611 to get an actual Sprint rep and you can do the same business with them.

If you have a Company discount associated with your plan. This is the reason for the calls they want us to upgrade our phones through them instead of going directly to Sprint.

So, can anyone say what works to get this calling to stop?  I was getting these calls last year and checked on it, and found this site, but then they suddenly stopped.  Now I just got one again, and of course no one was there when I answered.  But seriously, how do we make them stop?

This number called my cell phone numerous times and didn't leave a message.  I called it back from a landline using the *67 caller ID block.
It's Sprint.  They claim they're checking up to see if you are happy with their service, but they are actually trying to get you to buy more services.

It's a crap call.  They will keep calling until you answer.

have been getting phone calls from this number, I don't usually answer and they never ever leave a message.. well today I answered, told them to quit calling said they were from Sprint but wanted confirmation that I was the owner of the phone etc. I wanted to know who they were they said Sprint but would not tell me why they called.  The male was very rude and ended up hanging up on me and said they would keep calling until they talked to the owner of the phone I told them I was but I was not going to verify anything without knowing for certain who they were.  If they are really reps from Sprint why the obnixious phone calls and why not leave a message if you are legitimate.  I am not happy about this and will follow up with Sprint to find out if it was them or not, my contract is up next month and if they want to keep me as a customer they better stop this kind of calling.. I don't answer phone calls that I don't recognize, that is not what my phone is for.  The scams don't do anything for me.

They called every day for 3 days until they caught me on a day off when I was *supposed* to be able to sleep late.  8:26AM is a bit early for unwanted calls.

It was Sprint asking if I had any questions or issues with my service.  The woman was nice and professional, so I tried to be calm, but told her that I did not want anymore calls from Sprint.  She said she would change my privacy preferences.  I told her that the preferences were supposedly changed the last time I got a call like this.  She looked and said they had indeed been changed and didn't know why I'd been called, and she would report it to a supervisor.

In short, Sprint will not honor your desire not to be called.

I, too, got a call on my ID but no message.  I predict Sprint will be losing my business very quickly!  Who needs or WANTS hang up calls.  Pests!  Already NOT happy with its service and now it's going to call and call to bug me to add more services?  That's some chutzpah!
