Yes its cibc shady as f***. After 6 yrs  they managed to get my cell number.   Should find out the f****r that sold it to em.

Some man keeps leaving me messages to call back. I assume it's for me or maybe it was a wrong number. It would be nice if he said who he was looking for then I would know. I feel sorry for who these people are trying find. The man was so rude accusing me of avoiding his calls. I don't know who this is, but if you're going to call someone you need to learn manners.

Just listened to my voicemail and got a message saying to call back regarding a STATE matter. Caller did not leave their name or business name. If it was such a important legal matter they should have left some kind of identification. Don't know what they are trying to hide.

Got a call this morning from Private number. The message is really hard to listen, can't figured out who she is calling for except she mentioned my last name twice with some name and she said it's an emergency call. She left the 1866 number with an ext. and an account number. If it's CIBC, I have no business with CIBC at all.  

Someone called from this number and left a voicemail using my first name every other word. It was so fast it almost sounded automated. She said "it's regarding an important business matter". The call came in as Private but she left the 8663463979 number in the voicemail.

For context. I am a CIBC customer and my account was recently sent to collections in error.

Its a scam. I am getting calls from this number too. Don't give them any information regarding your Accounts.

Googled this number and CIBC came up. If it's CIBC they are real shady as the message left for me does not include who they are or who they wanted to talk to. The ID was private. It just said to call back with reference #. Can anyone confirm if this is a scam, debt collector or CIBC?

i got a call from 1-866-346-3979 and was advised to call back with an account number they are in regards to CIBC account, why I try to call them back I get busy signal so when I went to check that the number is correct it is indeed correct but online it says that this is a scam.

It is a collection agency called Total Credit Recovery.
