OK! I called that exact number...has NOTHING to do with any bible company --- its the American Assoc. of University Women. And I did join them. They thanked us for our recent subscription. And I did join them. Don't have a clue how that bible groip got thrown in here...but its the AAUW's number!

And I say they are NOT OK! We have never ordered a thing from them, and have never 'donated' one thing to them...si I agree, their 'robo calls' are un-wanted, un-solicited, and very much a warning for fraudulent activity.

This is indeed the American Bible Society, and they actually are okay. It's irritating to get robo-calls and robo-messages, but this group is okay. They are a valid non-profit.

Robo call from the American Bible Society thanking me for my 'generous donation.' Clearly spam, seeing as I have never heard of this organization. I will, however, check all credit cards for theft.

They are a very trustworthy organization. It surely isn't spam.
I have donated many times.I got a call on my answering machine but wasn't sure who the number was from.
