Professional? Not really. These a** clowns are a collection agency contracted by the DC DMV. Both are full of inept & lazy fools. I received two collection letters & phone calls on my cell for a red light tix that is not mine, for an Infinity that I do not own, in a city I do not live. No tix was ever sent to me, just collection notices, and the non-payment on the tix never received was reported to the three credit bureaus.  Better yet, the citation is from a day I was deployed to Afghanistan! I shared my case with both WTOP radio & WUSA9 in DC, as both have reported on similar stories where the fools at the DC DMV have license plates assigned to people who no longer live in DC (for me it has been ten years). Think about it... they assign plates to people, not cars, thus any given person could move the plate among several different cars, or possibly wear the plate on their a**! This is a** backwards! Anyway, WTOP helped me to [kind of] fix, as the tix was dismissed. But, the damn plates are still out there - either stolen or improper reissued w/o thorough administrative paperwork. It does not matter as the collection agency still tries to call me. Garbage!  

Basically, parking tickets in DC are 95% scam anyway -- not necessarily of phishing or pharming varieties!

This number has called me numerous times including this morning at 7am on a Saturday!!!!! Harassment!!!

Debt collection company that calls for outdated debts...looking to prey of people who at one point in time had issues and are in fear of creating new issues.  Rrefused to release any information as to what account it may be etc.

    As with "Hate DC" I got some tickets from DC which I ignored. They were parking tickets. Since I am from Virginia and the tickets were not for moving violations I blew them off.
      DC has been on an aggressive collections activity program lately. Got some stuff in the mail, too. I'm delighted they continue to waste time and money trying to get cash from me.
       BTW, they only boot cars after you get three parking tickets. After you get two, just get a new license plate when it's up for renewal. That's another fun monkey wrench to throw in at them.

Ridiculous.. I finally call back to see why I keep getting calls from this number, and she asks me for my phone number, first and last name, and then mailing address before I stopped her asking WHY are you calling? She tells me "you have an account with us and I have to verify your information" and I tell her I've been a victim of identity theft in the past and need more details before I divulge any info, and she refused to so i hung up. I have no idea why they're calling!

My husband got the call re an attempt to collect a dept, Im like what dept. Traffic Tickets, we never got one. Im calling back this number and the stupid greeting guy keeps saying hello and someone will be with me shortly, Ive been on the phone for 30 minutes on hold. I want proof cause nothing came in the mail. I am fully aware of scams like this. I heard not to give anyone over the phone your personal info, bank info and ss#. Next thing my bank acct. will be frozen and identity will be stolen along with our money.

They want $100 for traffic violation that I have allegedly received 6 years ago. However, I have never received any red light violations 6 years ago. Even if I did, why they did not contact me at least 5 years ago, why they waited for 6 years?

1-866-353-7145 calls my house with a recorded message to call 1-877-501-9923 so, I called both numbers, it asked for an account #, which I have none. So I pressed 1and the #. it asked for my zip code, and it says it can't find my account information. So why do they keep calling with some recorded message?  Aren't recorded messages and automated computer calls against the "rules"? This is so annoying!!!

I got two speed camera tickets in DC that I ignored (3 years ago).  They reported it to credit agencies, I fought it, credit agencies removed it (as the creditor hadn't responded within the 30-45 days).  They reported the original two tickets, plus the late fees, so that's 4 dings against my credit (until I had it removed).  Anyway, I'm not paying them SHINOLA!  

They call every day at 8:00-ish.  I have them on silent ring on my cell phone, so I don't hear it ring, but I do get the recorded message.

I got a few messages on my wireless number and decided to finally to call back.  They were inquiring about another person (perhaps he had my number before).  I'm guessing it was a collections call.

Once I made it clear I was not that person nor heard of him, the person apologized and said she would take my number off their list.  In my case, she was very polite.

Get your facts straight. Bill collectors can be anywhere, they can be collecting for anyone, who they are collecting for can be anywhere, and they can get in trouble for talking to the wrong person. It really is a personal/private matter.

But: They cannot keep calling once  you send a certified cease and desist letter. One time I did, they called again (not this company) and I collected $1,500 from them.

You have to know the law to make it work for you. Simply being aggravated and ranting on and on here may make you feel good, but it's not productive.

Bill collectors are, in fact -- like it or not -- exempt from FCC, FTC, and DNC list controls. The law gives them their own set of rules, and if they don't comply, THEN they stop being exempt.

Just got a call for a parking ticket happened in 2006 with our current LP that we just got a year ago :) never been nor drive our car in Texas. Just had to laugh. Need to be smarter than that. Just sad for some people who are buying this.

I did have some outstanding parking tickets; but the tactics that they use to get in touch with you are disgusting.  If you do not answer their calls; they call relatives; and they leave messages threatening to come to your residence and present to you a summons for court.  Yeah right - Good luck with that.  But anyway; after months of ignoring their calls; it came time to renew my car registration and I had no choice but to pay the parking tickets; but I did it via the local municipalities website because I refuse to talk to Law Enforcement Systems or whomever they call themselves now-a-days.  Even after I paid the tickets; the same guy kept calling and leaving threatening messages.  It must take a while for the word to get back to the collection agency that the debt has been taken care of.  Either way, I printed my "payment in full" receipt off of the local DMV's website  They are rogue vigilante's who must get commission off of enticing to get someone to pay a ticket over the phone.  I hope they got frustrated trying to get in touch with me.  The ticket was already late and inflated; therefore I paid it when I was ready too.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  Always during the day when I was at work.  Since they leave the same prerecorded message, I  filed a complaint with national Do Not Call list and filed a complaint with the FCC,  Finally received a call during the dinner hour when at home.  The person with whom I spoke asked for my son who has not lived at this address for 7 years.  When I asked what they were calling for, they said it was a private matter and they were not allowed to divulge the information. I told them that since they called my home phone number, it was my business!!!!  I told them that I had filed a complaint with Do Not Call as well as the FCC since they had called my number and left recorded messages at least 12 times in the last 5 weeks.. They said that they were not a telemarketer  and therefore, legal.  I told them that I work for the State of NJ and I was going to file harassing phone call charges against them.  They said that they were a collection agency. and EXEMPT from law,  I said  that any legitimate buisness has the correct phone numbers and that they had better never  call my phone number again since I had already filed a complaint with Do Not Call and the FCC.  We'll see what happens in the future.  I will take further action if necessary.  They are bogus and would not identify which agency they represent. Bogus scammers!!!!!!Person on phone with whom I spoke would not give me specifics as to which city DMV they were representing.  Kept telling me that it was  "personal information" for the person they were trying to reach who no longer lives here.  Told them no one at address had ever been in DC to get a parking ticket.  She said they processed information from other cities as well.  I told her that NJ DMV is very vigilant in contacting violators with out of state fines and violations thought US mail, etc and not through the phone.  Also told person that any time anyone got parking ticket anywhere, DMV sent infomation through mail and US mail was capable of reaching the violator and did not have to resort to phone scare tactics. Told her repeatedly that I had contacted Do Not Call list as they had violated law by leaving prerecorded messaged on my answering machine.  Also, told them I had filed a complaint with the FCC for the same reason.  The agent told me that they were "exempt" as they were a collection agency.  EVERYONE, PLEASE FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY AND THE FCC!!!  As long as this number can call and harass/aggravate and state that they are "EXEMPT", they will not be held accountable!!!!

These schmoes called me 8 min before my wedding ceremony!  Of course they didn't know that, but in haste and concern I answered!  Boy was I glad I hung up on them. Once I realized it wasn't an emergency related to my wedding or guests, I was puzzled why anyone would call me about unpaid DC parking tickets when I haven't been through DC in over 5 years and never received anything prior in the mail.   I know times are tough, but this is a sad way to extort money from people.  Also, why am I getting BS calls like this one when my cell phone number is on a national do not call registry?!

Over the past several years I have received numerous parking tickets in the city of Detroit.  Finally, the impounded my car.  I had to pay all of the past due balance to get my car back.  When I did, my car had been broken in to and all valuables (including my stereo and airbag) had been removed.  Now, three years later, these pukes start calling me claiming that I owe for the past due tickets.  When I explained the situation to them the lady on the phone called me a liar.  She then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted to continue having a drivers license I would have to pay it again then hung up on me.  I will be filing my complaint with the attorney general's office first thing tomorrow morning.

I get 2 calls regularly around 8:30 pm...I don't owe anybody anything.....

Company is Law Enforcement Systems LLC: Parking Enforcement Center. I got a letter regarding an EZ Pass violation. I did not get a phone call.

I too rec'd a call from these monkees.  I did not call them back.  Any legit place would send me a collection notice via USPS, as required by law in most states.  Since I know I don't owe any unpaid debts, even hospitals and such, this must be some sort of rip-off.  I can tell you that any normal biz practice allows you to receive a Bill or Invoice that needs to be paid, be it electronically or other ~ their must be an accurate accounting of the transactions and records to prove it, physically.  Even we all get pay stubs that show how much we get paid, per hour or salary, sick days or not, vacation or not.  A written record is critical to the operations of any business, if for no other reasons, US taxation and Income Tax laws.  Somehow every biz has paperwork to show their earnings as well as their tax they are liable.  

So, I would just blow these people off like I did.  If it is legit, they will find another mechanism to get to you and/or you will see it Ding your Credit report at one of the big three.  Only then will you know if it's real, but it could be too late if you get a Ding on your Credit report, but at least you will know something is real.

I got a call from someone saying she was Sylvia at Professional Account Management. She said I have two unpaid parking tickets in the District of Columbia totalling $210. Probably a phishing scam. She wouldn't give me her last name. She asked for my middle initial, but I didn't give it to her. I expect this is a scam because it happened a couple weeks after my home phone number became listed (normally I keep it unlisted). Also, I haven't been in DC in about a decade, and I've never driven there.

Recieved numerous call. At first i spoke to the and asked for a copy of the original ticket, because i have no clue what they are calling about. They said that they sent a letter, i kmow they didn't, because i never got anything.  They refuse to send a letter.  This has to be a scam.  I told the person on the phone that since we have never recieved anything in writing from this company ...ever.  I will discuss nothing with them nor will i give them any information.  If my husband got a ticket and it was not paid, we would owe the fine, but to refuse to give you anything in writing, that just smells of a shady company.

The caller ID said 414-831-1866.  When I answered it was a recording telling me to call 1-866-353-7145.  I'm not.

These guys are a real piece of work. I am trying to do the right thing, I call them back, to pay my account. Well, tell me how they are gonna be rude to me, send me an a** load of mail saying I owe them $$$ and when I ask for letter saying, the account has been paid in full, these do***e bags say they do not do that. I asked to be transferred to a manager, and these heffer hangs up on me. F you too.
