my fiancee has been getting this charged to his card for quite sometime now. only 15 dollars and some cents a month, but really what the heck is it for? he never subscribed to anything when he got his credit card. please tell me

it is a credit alert company... it is for when your card is lost or stolen. i just canceled it and they said im going to get only that one charge of 26.20 back.

dont really need it. all credit cards have there own lost or stolen program and it is included with the card that you got. no extra charge

When I activated my credit card, I was asked if I am interested for the service or not. I had requested them to send me the details over mail so that I will go through them and let them know if I am interested at all, however I never received any mail. That day the person whom I was talking to was very polite.

Today when I called these people and asked for the clarification and requested to reverse the transaction, the person I was talking to was rude, however he agreed to reverse the entire amount of CAD 189.

I guess these people are more dangerous than the Identity theft problem :-)

Good Lord I just got this charged too for 188.99 and I never once ordered this... all the offices are closed until Monday, as this is the weekend... WTH is right... BS

I got a call and RBC showed up on caller ID> This person told me it was a courtesy call. This person transfered me to CREDITALERT 8663726409 TORONTO ON.
When I asked the person to remove this service from my account..she hung up on me. This call took me about a good half hour to get through. I still have no way of gettingthis off mycard.

I don't know since when they have been charging me!  But who they are and how they got into my master card? They are doing illegal action that we should act against them.

They charged me every month from my master card!  We should all  report against this center for law action against them!

Watch out that HSBC Matercard is also part of the scam.  They charged me $188.99 two years in a row.  Of course they ask you to cancel with the 18663726409 number. The HSBC Mastercard agent was clearly trying to convince me this was a service for me. It is disgusting that an institution like HSBC is involved in this fraud.

Unbelievable trying to get rid of this F--ing thing. I had to get right upset with the dick on the phone.

tell them that u need some time to think about it... i just recently got off the phone about my credit report but it was for tdvisa?? so i think your best bet is just say im not intrested good day and hang up
