They also ask for your primary care doctors name. If they are really Humana They have that information. If you have just recently gone from AARP Medicare Complete To Humana. You imputed that information upon sign up with Humana. My suggestion is to politely wish them a Pleasant day to dis-connect the call.

A lady told me she was from Humana Services. She asked to speak to my husband for a survey they were conducting for Humana. I told her he wasn't available and she insisted he call her back to take this survey before his next doctors visit.
I found that to be strange since his membership doesn't take affect until Jan. 1st.  2014!

I don't care if it is Humana (and they called and identified themselves) because I told them many months ago to stop calling e for anything but an emergency, that I will not answer their surveys no matter how they send it.  I told them that the reason I purchased their Advantage plan was for a sick relative that I must do EVERYTHING for, so I told them I had to go change the s****y diaper now, so STOP CALLING.  She apologized profusely.

Its Humana's Welcome call center dept. The Center for Medicare Services requires Humana to ask all  Medicare members if they want to complete the assessment(survey). options: yes, no, not interested, or DO NOT CALL anymore.

Answered and advised not to call again as were on do not call list.
Said they were humana.

I get calls from this number and have no clue who it is or what they want.  I am on the Do Not Call List and still get calls.  My caller ID says Not Provided and this number.  I just clicked on Who Owns This Number and there were no results.

Caller identified herself as Ms. Johnson from Humana Services.  She said she had a few questions to ask me about my perception of services I received from Humana and it's doctors/clinics.  I told her my Humana insurance only became active on April 1 and I haven't yet seen a dr. or filled a prescription using their network, so I can't provide any feedback on that.  

She then asked me to verify that I was who she was calling by telling her my complete name, address and date of birth.  I told her I don't provide this info over the phone and requested that she mail me the remaining questionnaire.  She said she had to do it by phone, then she told me my name, address and birthdate. (weird)

Next she asked me to categorize my health as either excellent, good, fair or poor.  I told her I preferred not to answer this type of question over the phone.  She followed that by asking me if I had heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease or cancer.  I told her that if she was authorized by Humana to conduct this survey, then the only way she was going to get any usable answers from me was if she mailed me the questionnaire.  She replied by asking me my marital status and annual income amount and source.  I hung up.

No way to know if this is actually Humana calling, and if so, if the questions they ask of people who have already been accepted into their insurance plans are appropriate.  Seems like they should ask these questions BEFORE they approve you.

It is Humana pushing their Advantage program.  I have Humana Ins. through my employer, I just don't like being called at 8:30 AM and I told them as much.
