Unknown number on caller ID called after 9:30.  I didn't pick up but looked online to find out who it was.  Apparently, a fraudulent telemarketer.

Well...two years later and this is still happening!  This number called my cell phone a little before 10 at night and left a message having something to do with "settling this matter amicably".  Didn't identify them selves as any company but what is really strange is that the call does not register in my list of incoming calls yet they left a message.  Guess they'e found out a new way to call?

around nine some foreinger called asking for someone who doesnt live here. ive over and over again that that person doesnt live here. ive asked him nicely to srop calling and it stopped for a while. i let him know that i was tried of it and he started to cuss me out. sounded kinda foreign. probably a freak.

I just received a call from 866-456-9115 here on Sunday and it being Easter. I do not answer any of the calls that I do not recognize....BUT......I do pick up all those calls and say "nothing"!!!! They get frustrated and finally hang up. It is their money being wasted, not my money. I guess you might say it has become my "favorite" hobby.

This has gotten way out of hand when people's numbers/names/cellphone numbers are being sold.

I guess if I reported them, I would have to find another "hobby". LOL

Be sure of this................I am calling that number 208-292-1099 and giving them a piece of my mind tomorrow. Thanks for that number.

I've had many calls from this company over the last couple of months.  Sometimes as late as 11:00 at night.  When I do answer, I get nothing - no one says a word.  I call the number back, asking to be taken off of their call list and I get hung up on.  Very frustrating.  I've registered this number with my state attorney general and will be contacting Dish Network to complain as well.  Best of luck to us all.

called at 10:58pm tonight. Daughter answered the phone and told them we were in bed, the woman got pushy (not from this country) and said the phone call was extremely urgent and when could she contact me..............they would not leave any kind of msg.  this number calls roughly 15 or so times a week and most of the time the line is dead or has dial tone.  Almost all of the calls come in after 9:30 at night  RIDICULIOUS!!!!!!!!!  called them back and sat on hold forever and no one would pickup their line.  Getting old!

Continous calls after 10pm.  When I pick up they just hang up.  The number called 4x tonight.  These calls are not welcome.

I received FOURS calls last night from them!  One at 8:47pm, I told them it was too late to call my house and to remove my number.  He mumbled something (on top of his heavy indian accent) and i asked him to repeat himself, and then asked him to speak slower when i still coulnd't understand.  Then he called me "illiterate"...??  What a moron. Then he said that he was going to call me back in 10 minutes?  I told him if he did, I would report him.  And HE DID!!!  And when I answered the phone, he said "Is illiterate there?" I almost punched him through the phone.  Then later at 10:52pm!!! He called again and asked to speak with the illiterate one in the house.  I was appalled!!!

I received 2 phone calls at 9:38 and 10:07pm with no voice messages left.

I get lots of calls from this number on my landline.  They are all really late, after 9 and frequently 10 or later.  I have answered to see who it is and no one ever talks!  It's frustrating and rude.

These people are ideed from dish network out of of course India. Well this branch of one of there many telemarketing call centers.

Rec'd a call  i went through the whole process with them and they tried to get me to pay 49.95 up front. I told them no and then he got upset and insulted me by saying he doesn't really need my money he can feed  his family. I said okay the you don't need my money and he stated "look just try and imagine yourself with all the dish and free tv that I want for the 49.95 and then 44.95 a month. I then told the man imagine himself with out my money. He got really upset and that's when I explained that he shouldn't call people at 9:45pm and expect to earn anyones buisiness and he replied it is morning where he is at..""""""OFFSHORE COMPANY"""""""WARNING"""""WARNING""""

They call several times a week trying to set up service with dish network.  Tonight they called and said "We need money".  They stayed on phone calling my wife by her middle name.  No one uses her middle name but her friends.  These people need to be reported to the federal government.

Got a call from this number at 10pm 1/9/08. This is worse than a telemarketer;it's a scammer. We don't have satellite or dish. I have unlisted/unpublished with phone company's anti-telemarketer service on the line and they still called through. What crap. Here's what I found out on a different who-calls page on internet:

Discount Communications online, their address is listed as:  315 W Dalton Ave ~ Coeur D Alene, ID 83815.  The main number is also listed as (208) 292-1099.  That might be the number to call if you want your number removed from the list...

Got a call asked for my Mom and when I said she wasn't available they hung up. Called back and waited on the line but no one picked up the English was very broken and was definitely not American.

Company called and represented them selves as Dish Network.  Canceled my order and re-established service due to an "ERROR" in processing my first order..  I called Dish and verify and they told me this was a Fraudulent call.  Service was never re-established.  They was for personal info, but also has all the details of my first order to dish network.

This number just called me about 45 minutes ago (10 PM)!  Man with a heavy accent, asking for my husband by his first name.  I told him with an unpleasant tone to my voice that he was asleep and the guy hung up on me!  I then called the number backed, listened to the recorded message about satellite dishes, hung up and called back again.  This time a lady with a heavy accent picked up the line and I asked her where she was calling from.  She told me she was in India!  I told her that I just received a phone call from someone at that number, it's 10 o'clock at night and I'd appreciate it if they didn't call me again.  Surprise surprise, she hung up on me too.

I got a call at 9:50 pm, when Iam getting my kids to sleep and a husband on the road, with a call that late might make me think he is hurt, after 8:00pm is for emergency only. If I wanted to buy a new TV plan  or anything I would call them. And for anyone who seats at these job and bother families, should look for a new one. Maybe we should take their home numbers and call them all night and see if they want to listen to what we have to sell them.

9:55 pm in WA state.  Trying to get my kids to bed on work night and the phone rings!

The SOB just called here (Christmas Eve) 8:50PM but didn't leave a message. No doubt some scammer.

The caller didn't identify himself. Obviously, fishing or selling or ???

Caller claimed to represent Dish Network. He knew that I had ordered a new Dish Network only a few hours before. Also he had much of the order information.  He claimed that the installers were busy so my install had been canceled. It would be necessary to recharge my credit card to setup a new install date.  Very smooth routine, had he spoken English better I may not have become suspicious. It did not make sense that local installations would be scheduled by people outside the USA.

I got a call from them saying they were dish network and had to reset a new account I had just set up.  They took alot of information from me.  I then called back dish network and they said that i had cancelled my order and that nothing new had been set up by them.  I called the number back and they said that they were a satelite company based out of california, yeah right, sounded like they were middle eastner.  Be aware.  They also tried to call and give me a new sprint phone, what a bunch of a-holes.  Do not give them any information!

I keep getting this number after 9:00 pm.  If I answer like I am mad they hang up.  Tonight I answered cheerful and when they asked for my husband I said that it was much to late for them to call...They hung up before I even finished the sentence.  

Not an American accent.

We have started just lifting the reciever and then replacing it on all, 800, unavailable and out of the area calls, where we do not recognize numbers.  I think the automated system recognizes we have been contacted and kicks you out of the not contacted call list.

It's another telemarketer. Try this:

1) You answer & no one is there: hit ###### many times in rapid succession (creates an even-spaced beep) and hang up; Machine may interpret that your number is bad and take you off the list.

2) You answer & get a sales pitch: say "please hold" and set the phone down till they hang up; If you always waste their time like this, they'd be stupid not to take you off the list.

This caller called my home at 9:30 pm and asked for some one that does not live here. My number is unlisted/unpublished. I did the *69 and called them back to find out that it was Dish Network. When I asked the young ladie on the other end to place my number on the no call list she hang up on me before I could give her the number. A real class act.
