I just found this number on my credit card bill with an non-authorized  $59.95 charge.  I tried to call this number but couldn't get in.

Yea,I just had the same problem. I paid $1.95 for a grant report, this cleared my account on 9/8, now today on 9/10 I have a charge of $49.95 pending. I did not agree to buy anything else from this company. I will definately be following up with this and contacting my bank.

Same thing happened to me and I havent even been able to get any "grant information".  Contact your bank and report it as fraud.

They will eventually get in some sort of trouble for wrongfully taking money out of peoples accounts.

I just got charged for $58.61 on my bank account on Sept 14,2008. I have tried to call this number and it won't even ring, nor a busy signal, nothing. What the heck is going on. I am furious. I am on SS/SSI. this hurt me terribly as we just went through a 75mph wind storm and no power for a week.

On 9/23 $0.99 & $49.95 Was deducted from my checking account I tried to call the 866-509-5275 listed on my statement. Bur I get the recording that, that number cannot be dialed from the phone I am using. The name of the Co. making the deduction is listed as Business Source.

this company took 2 payments of $49.50 out of my account and i tried calling the number but it won't even ring. I don't even know what this is for and don't know what the company is. i contacted my bank about this. this is not right and i hope they get caught!!

Hi folks, I had a 58.61 charge on 9/29 showing the 866-509-5275#  - I called Grant Master (I saved info when I cancelled) - they assured me that charge was not from them as I had cancelled. You can contact them @ 1-800-546-2919 M-F, 9am-9pm, EST - good luck - I still have to find who this charge is from - it caused numerous bounced checks each w/$39 NSF fee. I'm also disabled with only SSDI income.

That charge came out on 16 Sept and I also tried calling that same number and not even a ring.  I am currently on the phone trying to disbute this charge. What kind of people just take other people's money for no reason. This is crazy.

Sept. 22, 2008 I had a charge of $58.62 charged to my bank account, tried calling the number but always got the same answer "Sorry all circuits are busy". Never could get anybody.
Today, 10/19/08, I again have a charge of $58.62 charged to my account with a different phone number 866-354-5541GB. Tried several times to call but got ALL CIRCUITS BUSY. Finally got an answering machine that gave a list of options and I selected #3 (which was to cancel service or disput a charge) but then was put on hold for 10 minutes and finally hung up.
Next I am calling my bank and having these charges disputed.

On Sept 29, 2008 I had a $49.50 charge on my cc, I called the number today and actually spoke with someone who told me I had ordered something onliine on 8/13/08 for $1.99 and had a 7 day period in which I could cancel without being charged.  I never ordered anything from this company - no charge on my cc or an email - nothing.  When I tried to call back I got a recording (shock!!)I have already filed and exception with my bank and am reporting to FTC and BBB, for all the good that will probably do...
I had requested an online cd from Grantsearch on that date for $2.99 however.  They also tried charging me $39.95 for not cancelling within 7 days, but they have agreed to refund the charges along with 2 $7.95 charges from Business Funding(?) and another company I didn't recognize NW-AG.com had charged me as well for $9.95 for who knows what.  All of these agreed to refunds except, of course, Business Source.  I also reported this to my cc co. and stated it looks as if Grantsearch had passed on my billing info.

I was charged $58.61 on my debit card in Sept. Never could get through to talk to anyone about this. Today 10/24/08 I was again charged $58.61 on my debit card. Called and did get to talk to a person who said that I had signed up in Sept for Grant Research for a trial period of 7 days, then if not cancelled I was charged $58.61 for a month. Said they could not refund my money but did cancel any future charges (I hope). Did get a cancellation number. In Sept was charged by Business Source and Oct charged by Grant Research. Don't really know what is going on. Two different phone numbers Business Source 866-509-5275, Grant Research 866-354-5541.

i found a way to contact the company behind these charges. The company's real name is Grant resource Guide. The Business Source and New Grants are supposedly just Merchants which make the charges for the 1st company mentioned. You can contact the company at 866-545-0922. Warning: I had to wait 18 minutes before I spoke to a live person

Yeah, they got me too. There are two phone numbers, I tried the Grant one with no luck, just a whacked-out automated hell, but the Business Source number 866 509 5275 actually transferred me to a live person, who insisted that I had agreed to the monthly fee when I signed up for the 1.95 trial. I don't THINK SO! That rep is out buying a new hearing aid right now.
Geez, aren't there any LEGIT internet info companies any more? It looks like my bank will charge back at least one of the two monthly fees they socked me with, if not both.
