I received a letter from National Financial Benefits Group. They were requesting the most random information from me. Thank you for previous posts on this company. You saved me from releasing private information to a bogus organization.

I got the same letter today and nothing matches . So I just trashed it because it is not even worth a trip to the mail box . They definitely need to get a life .

Just got the letter, it is September 2/2013  and still they are in business.  I will send the empty envelope and report them as well.  The address that I have is 2202 S. Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA 90007; Again, the telephone & fax # are the same. I'm glad I Google them first.
Thanks everyone for exposing this people because so many people will be saved from this fraud;

imagine until now they're still sending letters like this coz i received it today. 9/1/13 still the same style.

Yes I just received a letter from them today, saying that they are a tax advantage retirement that is currently available to California Nurses.

Just got an unsolicited letter from National Financial Benefits Group asking for personal information; They list their contact as:   2202 S. Figueroa St., LA, CA 90007.  888.860.7299.  Needless-to-say, I will not be returning my info!

I got a letter from national financial benefits group stating the following:
the purpose of this letter is to advise you that in order to provide you information on how to receive a complimentary copy of your social security maximization report that is currently available to California workers, the following information must be completed and returned in the postage paid envelope enclosed.
they have a different address than what is on the postage paid envelope:
2202 S. FIGUEROA STREET LOS ANGELES, CA 90007, FAX 888-850-7299, and on envelope po box 21788 Florida, 33335.

Letter looked suspicious. Called the number given 888- 805-7299 - no such tel # !!  then looked up on line . found it is not accredited with BBB - too little info. and no responses.
Sounds like a hoax.

Scam! I just received a letter today about Nurse Retirement in California. I googled the address at the bottom of the letterhead and it belongs to a UPS store on Figueroa Street here in Los Angeles. Return envelope is addressed to Fort Lauderdale The phone number and the fax number are exactly the same..

I got this letter today I researched them and your comment came up. Thanks for posting this. It didn't sound right so I goggled it!

Their telephone number: 888-850-7299 is a fax machine beep.

Hahaha!!!!! Great idea. I just sealed this empty envelope and will drop it in the box!!

got the letter in April....looked it up today...  yes phone and fax the same...
address in Chicago on form.  but return envelope Ft. Lauderdale

I also got the same letter. This time the address is 17 monroe st. in chicago but the same P.O.box in FL. I'm glad I checked it out

I also received the same letter. It looks like their business is at the Palmer House Chicago - seriously!?
I guess they forgot that nurses are pretty smart.  I am returning my empty envelope also and thanks for the info for the Fraud Center. I will contact them.

Have to agree with all above. " tax advantaged retirement benefits that are currently available to Illinois Nurses " On the letter the address is the Palmer House Hilton Chicago. The address on the envelope is PO Box in Ft Lauderdale,Fl.
