I received a call from them earlier this year -2011-(so I thought). They were demanding a payment of $495.00 for our advertising with them from 2009 for a 2 year time. I requested they send me some paper work documenting this.  They neeed to know how I was paying the bill - credit card or check.  I did tell them I would pay be check if I seen the paperwork and truly ordered this service.  9/12/11 the company called again asking for payment and played back the recording of me telling them I would pay the bill with check (earlier this year).  I did not receive any paper work from yellow pages online back in early 2011. I did get paperwork from another company.  But the dollar amounts are a little different.  The company that called yesterday did fax an open invoice showing we now owed $582.95 and a letter stating they will send this to collections if we don't pay. The website on the invoice is:www.yellowpageso.com out of Lake Success, NY 110042.  When I googled the phone numbers (1-866-611-7604) from this fax, the report comes up that this is a scam and should be reported

These folks called my boss and said she's needing to pay them 527.95. in order to settle up her cancelled account from 1 year ago with Yellow pages online. They even sent a fax indicating a "Payment Authorization/Termination"
PROBLEM...NO Termination information is given!  Only the usual: Name, address, credit card # etc. For a payment due for an account that was cancelled ONE YEAR AGO!
WATCH OUT! I've got our attorney on this!

Hey call the Better Business Bureau or fill it out a complaint on line. There are lots of these Bogus companies. Yellow Pages Online, Regional Yellow Pages, National Yellow Pages. Fax them back a letter stating you despute these charges and no one authorized the advertisement. Make sure yoiu let them know you have filed a claim with the BBB and sent your Attorney a copy also. ( Even if you dont have an Attorney) You probably wont here from them again. I also sent them a copy of the SCAM alert for their company I found on line. Just make sure you dispute the invoice in writing.

Received a call from this number saying we verbally authorized online services from yellowpageso on Oct 21, 2009.

We have also received a call from this company saying that we ordered the service Oct 2009. We did not authorize this service and now they are trying to get over 500.00 from us. What did you end up doing to get them to go away. We also received bills from regional yellow pages and express yellow pages, all claiming that we authorized by telephone, all three on the same day, Oct 21, 2009. Sounds strange to me. I looked them up on the BBB and all have an F rating. We haven't paid anything but getting tired of the telephone calls.

Same thing here from the same number. Said they have my voice recorded agreeing to their contract and I owed them $695.95. They wanted me to fax them proof I had paid but I called the real YPonline first and they too confirmed it was a scam. The guy keeps calling me, threatening me and faxing me. Reporting them to BBB.

Same deal, said my company owed them for online advertising and if I did not pay them $582.95 they would send me to collection and ruin my credit.  I have forwarded the information to the BBB.

We have been getting calls from them for awhile. Also the same situtation. They are a Scam!!! We are going to try the better business bureau.

This is a fax number.  It belongs to yellowpageo.com  note that it is not yellowpagesonline its yellowpageso.... they called my company stating that we owed them over 500.00 for advertising.  When I told them that I had canceled my account (which was the real online company) and paid off my bill they threatened me with reporting to credit bureaus and explained that I better pay my bill and that I had paid the wrong company and that I owed this company...not the one that I paid.  If you hear from this company believe me that IT IS A SCAM!  DON'T SEND THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY.  If you feel the need to throw away your money please feel free to send it to me.  I could really use it...lol and they are probably sitting on a island somewhere drinking fruity drinks laughing at the people who have fallen for this scam. (Thank goodness I wasn't one of them, don't let yourself be one either).  Hope this helps you!
