this number called me, 866-611-8672, claiming to be Explore Talent and is very interested in my photos. I "almost" gave in and  give them the card #, Pheww, lucky that I lied to him that I don't have a credit card with me.
His name is Zack....just Zack.. no last name.. thick accent that I didn't quite believe him since I have been scammed before. He got pretty upset that I don't have my card number and told me to put him on hold and for me to call my friends or relatives to help me with the pay up that costs $120... i told him that I don't have anybody beside my husband but he's at work and if he want, I can just go ahead and pay it on Explore Talent website instead of the phone; he insist. He got a little fussy and told me that i'm going to miss this opportunity, and that if I don't pay now, i'm going to lose it, so I told him, "If you said I'm a good match like you said, then you won't have a problem to wait til 6pm to call me back since you don't want to call me back tomorrow" that shuts him up agreed to call me later..or shall i say, me calling him later. Glad I came and did this research!!

A person named 'Sam' (rhymes with SCAM) contacted me, saying he was a creative director and looked at my website and has amazing opportunities for me. It's all BS.

I received the same call myself earlier today. I was laughing to myself when the guy was giving me his spiel. I immediately recognized it as a scam but played along. Of course he asked for money to reopen my profile to make it active for the directors and other wonderful people so i can take advantage of the opportunities that i all of a sudden qualify for. REALLY? They said i fit the description that they were looking for. LOL! I have never signed up for such a service.

Anyways to make the long story short, i told him to email me with more info and that i will call in the morning with a credit card payment. Im just gonna annoy the @#$%& out of him cuz he wasted my time, now its my turn.

So yes ppl, this is a SCAM, so please do not fall for this.

For sure it's a scam!!! I signed up for explorer talent and later got a call from Scott Davis from explorer talent. He said to become a member I had to pay $199.50 So I can get my profile going and that he will become my agent so I told him I Dnt have the money. Then after awhile of me tell him i didnt have it!! He Finally said you can call me back at 8666118672 when you do.

He really thought I was that stupid!! This man was positively Indian! So For one the name Scott Davis is not NO Indian name!!! SO IT'S OBVIOUSLY IS A SCAM!

So I recieved a call last week from 5306630712 I thought it was a bill collector so i hit ignore....a man with a heavy accent left a voicemail..all I could understand was the # to call back which was 8666118672. I was transferred several times Before I spoke with javier. we spoke for about 20 minutes.....before he asked for my credit or debit card.....Im broke im not gonna give him either even if i wasnt boke!!!! blah he assured me this isnt a scam, your not paying me your investing in your carreer. I was handpicked for a photoshoot in Seattle wa for the old navy clothing brand making $300 a day 2-3 times a week. he said your gonna lose the opportunity if you dont upgrade today... we've chosen 3 other girls aswell if you dont upgrade ill give the job to one of them....I became a bit bitchy very unproffesional if they were legit....I told him Id think it over he told me to research explore talent and when i was ready to upgrade my profile to return his call. He gave me his contact info before I hung up and  his name mysteriously changed to adam smith!!! roflmao blah but i was naive and decided to do my research so I googled explore talent and there phone number is 18009340000 A women answerd and I asked her if an Adam Smith worked for explore talent???within one second  she said yes hes a talent agent in another office......come on do you really know everyone in the company by name???  I wouldnt!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE FORIEGN F**** YOUR MONEY!!! LET THEM SCAM THERE OWN KIND!!!! BLAH I WANT MY DAMN PICTURES AND ALL MY INFO BACK!!!

He also kept saying to me " Honey, do you think I called you for money"? While constantly asking for an activation fee. Smh It is definitely a scam. I've always set up meetings with an agency before having to sign anything. Don't call back. Ignore the number! Complete waste of time.

I just got off the phone with a guy buy the name of Scott Davis from a 530 number. I asked if I could rereach him at that number he says yes but then tells me this 866 number. Smh I admit I was almost for it but it just wasn't making complete sense to me. Paying $69.99 so that I can audition for shoots? So I just had to look up the number and luckily I found out it was a scam before calling him back.

My daughter recieved a call from 866-611-8672 from a man with an accent who claimed she was selected through ExploreTalent.com for as an Old Navy Print Model. She was excited. In being that I am in Criminal Justice; she asked me to call the number to check them out. I spoke with a Hispanic/Latino man that claimed to be Creative Director, Jeff Anderson, that knew all of her personal information. Stated he seen her photo album on Facebook. He told me that she was beautiful and was selected to model jeans for Old Navy and for her to be in Charlotte, NC to do a casting of print model in 3 days. He also told me should would at first earn $300 per day or $1000 weekly while she first gets started. I asked him to send me an email for verification and his excuse was that she had to submit authorization of contract acceptance first.I asked his location and he stated they were in Las Vegas, Nevada, and business Approved by BBB. My daughter spoke with him again requesting the Authorization Form be sent to her email address. This con artist told her that she had to do a one time fee of $119 over the phone for authorization. These criminals are the primary reason of why I am in Criminal Justice.

A complete SCAM!!! I received the strangest compliment ever. The guy told me:
- Are you sure you are 26? You sound like a 16 year-old.
He then added :
- I really like your voice and it sounds energetic.
Who comes up with "compliments" like that?! And he wanted me to pay $69 for such lame compliments. Not happening :D

I got a call around 1 today from 530-663-0712. She told me her name was Shelly Peterson and that she was a creative director for ExploreTalent (it was mumbled and I did not know what she actually said for a while until I figured it out). She asked me if I remembered posting a picture on the website and I was like yeah, I guess. She was hard to understand because she was clearly not American. She told me I was selected for print ads, commercials, and movies and because I was wary, I made her tell me specifically what the commercials were for, and what the movie was. She told me the movie had Pierce Brosnan in it. Dude, really? Then, she all of a sudden had an important call from a "fashion designer" and had to go. She said to call her in one hour. So, I did. And then while I was on hold, I googled the number she gave me to call her back which was the 866-611-8672, and when I started reading all these posts, I hung up right away. She called me back right then, and I ignored it but then she called me again so I answered it. She was like, "We got disconnected." I was like, "No, we didn't. I decided I wasn't interested after I googled your number." And she was like, "Oh." And hung up. LMAO. Don't fall for it.

I did sign up for Explore Talent (Website is a little Cheesy as I too am a web designer/developer).  After several months, I received a call from a woman named Shelly Peterson and a man named Bruce..??, who left me a voice message about my profile fitting the role of a few movies and commercials coming out.  I was very interested to hear from them.

After giving them a call she told me to give her a call back so she can provide me with the information ( at this point i was a little suspicious).  So I gave her a call back about 20 minutes later, she then started to question/interview me on why I want to get into acting and also if I had any experience.  I tell her about my experience and background.  She mentions that my profile wasn't complete and I would have to sign up for the pro version trial for 6 months at $130 or a 1 year contract.  I told her that I had to think about it and she started to get very pushy with me.  I told her that I was at work and that I was only on a 15 minute break (20minutes into the conversation).

After telling her numerous times that I had to think about it, she kept pushing me more and more and kept telling me that they need it and how if I didn't set everything up right then and there that someone else would get the part. From that point I told her again to let me think and that I had to go.  She then hits me with "You know as a Creative Director here, I can tell that you're not serious about acting.  Are you?"  I simply replied, "Yes, I am.  But I cannot jump into anything without doing proper research."  She then tells me to call her before 3pm California time if I am serious and to tell her on the spot if I am not.

Doing some research on this company, there are a lot more negatives than positives.  From every one of these reviews it sounds like it is not a scam, but definitely a company that you do not want to do business with.  I too have check the BBB, right now it says that they are getting and A++.  Even though, I do not trust them.  If you have real talent and are also serious about it.  The people come to you for it.  Out of my experience I have had gigs and have been in videos and small parts for film.

ExploreTalent can explore their way to Kissing my A**!

Have a good day everyone!

I just got a call too and knew right away mentioned that I believed it to be a scam which he replied to "honey this is not a scam"... please I wasn't born yesterday. I said "ok thank you" and hung up before I let him waste my time anymore or even get to the part about giving him money. I knew full well I didn't give enough information yet to be quote "the perfect person" for this "role", not to mention the give away about they sound in his fast talking voice.

We received several calls but today I actually picked up, he stated his name was Neo Smilth form Explode Talent.. he had what seemed like an Asian Accent, and wanted to talk with my daughter. I had her call back but on Speaker phone. They transferred her to another foreign voice who said her was a Creative Director and had an opportunity with auditioning in Albany NY for a Van Diesal film. He became irate when a credit card wouldnt be given for this once in a life time opportunity.. Beware!!!!
