I didn't answer but am disgusted with the invasion of privacy that this kind of caller is committing.

this phone# has been linked with fraudulant acct being opened in customer's name. I urge you to not give any information out over the phone, if you already have please contact the credit bureaus, they will put a block on you credit file to preven fraudulant activity to occur in your name

I urge people to call back this phone number then select option #2 (leave a message).  Then play some music, or put the phone by your TV - let it record.  After a few minutes, it will ask if you want to send it.  Press 1 to send the message.  I figure if they start getting enough calls that cost them money, they will stop phoning.  At the beginning of the message, tell them you don't want any more phone calls from them.  They will automatically know your phone number.  Their phone bills show who has called their 1 866 number.

I started getting the call a few days ago and I just had 3 in the last a few hours.  I am just wondering if any of the people in the previous posts that have called back have had an increase or a decrease call frequency.

There was this man that called my house like 20 minsutes ago...and the man had a very heavy brown accent and said he was from BMO mastecard company..and said that my mom was approved..and started to read out my moms information. And i told him that it was all right..but when he started to ask for my mmoms first name..i was just like "wtf"...why dont you just send a letter"...and the man kept going...and i just said that i was under 18 and i couldnt help him, and he said..whens they next best time to call?
HOLY this is a scam, and now im super scared..and i might have ruined my moms life...OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG

I got that phone call today.

It was hardly English that I've ever heard. They asked me about 4 digits of something about my bank account. I ask them for who they are but no answered at all.

Received a call today from this number.  Call was placed to my cell phone number.  The caller had a heavy Scandanavian accent, difficult to understand, but was asking to reach Company XYZ (who happens to be my previous employer, a Division on a Fortune 100 Company which has been dissolved for about 8 years).  My cell number was never associated with the company.  When the guy asked for my name, I became very suspicious, and when he could not properly identify his company or the reason for his call, I told him I could not help him and he hung up.  I am suspicious that this may be some attempt at identity theft.

the other day I got a message from this number stating they are in behalf of a fortune 500 companies. next day, I got another call from this number and someone answered, stating that I was pre-approved of a Platinum Credit Card. from a "never heard" bank..I simply told the guy that I am not interested, and hung up!

I find that this Company's marketing discredits anything to do with Fortune 500. I NEVER believe anything anyone says, which includes the phrase "Fortune 500"

They are targeting "older" Canadians, right? Be VERY AWARE of a scam here. Don't respond to their DNC request... If you do - you have validated your phone number... and that they will sell or keep for further abuse.

Sir, I do not know who you are - However

I do not wish to be called by your marketing agency.

I have a handicap which prevents me from easily answering my phone. If you do not comply with my request - I will attempt to take further action without additional notice, including notification of consumer "watchdogs" and the press. I do have the time.... and responding to your nasty marketing practice will be a pleasure.

i keep getting these phone calls.  it is very annoying

they call twice a day now.
what is reporting good for?
I consider this serious harassment.

keep calling no one on other end...so I blocked the call..I do enjoy this this feature.

They're calling me twice daily now and sometimes 3 times! It's ridiculous not to mention it's my cell phone not a land line.

No one on other end I knew it was a telemarketer so hung up...annoying!!!

This number has been calling me daily. I finally answered today and they asked for someone named Jerome, I believe. It was really odd, someone else I know got the same call asking for the same person. I have caller ID and it doesn't show the name, also weird.

Didn't answer either but I'm angry as well... Luckily I've been screening calls

i called the number back from an unlisted location - says it is fortune 500 and enables you to enter your phone number to remove your name from their list... they have bought your phone number from a list somewhere and called me about 10 times.
