I get this call AT WORK - once a day.

I try calling it back - rings once, then disconnects.
Never leaves a v.m.

I am getting the same thing! A call every day with no message left and when I call back it rings once and disconnects.

I get this call everyday several times a day.  Very annoying!  Don't know how to stop it!

How do I stop this annoying call?  Any suggestions?

Everyday at least twice they call. Annoying people. How do i get to them to stop them? I tried to call back but no answer. Just got disconnected everytime.

Same here. 10:02 am pacific. I let it go to voicemail, then played it back...there was elevator-like hold music for about 45 seconds, then a woman's voice came on the line saying "hello...hello" and she hung up.

I think this is some outbound auto-dialer.

I answered. They were trying to get me to sign up to receive one of those free business-type magazines. In this case, it was "CRM" magazine.

I get calls from these guys all the time.  They're blacklisted on my CallStation phone system software now - it automatically hangs up every time after it recognizes the number. If you leave your phone ringer on you will hear one  or two rings though (depends on how long for caller ID to recognize). You need caller ID and an internal modem, and the software costs a one time $35 - you have a free 30-day trial before purchasing anything (you don't enter CC info until you want to buy, if you want to buy). Reference www.imptec.com/callstation.htm. I turn my phone ringer off, and have the incoming calls ring through my computer. Then I mark as priority only those calls I want to hear the ringing when they call, and then set the system to "do not disturb." The do not disturb function only rings those callers with numbers identified as priority. The software is very versatile, and allows for an unlimited amount of personal greetings too. My buddies wonder WTF when the phone answers with their name.
