call from Jennifer saying I may not realize whats going on and she needed to talk to me about a legal matter. came from 866-645-6269.  This is so ridiculous!

Received a phone call about somebody, who had never lived here before and whom I had never heard of. The caller knew our names and was implying that it was very important to call 866 645 6269 and speak with Jeniffer. I called. There was no Jennifer. Some man said that he was the "big shot" there and she just worked for him in his legal department and if I could please give him the phone # that she called into (i.e. my home phone). I said No and I do not want her to ever call that number again. He got all agitated and angry and replied "If you are not going to cooperate I won't be able to help you". I said "Fine, I won't cooperate" and hung up.

Called us as well, same MO as above.  I'm glad I looked here before returning the call.

i received the same type of call from the same person above and tried to make it appear as though this might be a criminal matter. This website was very helpful.

They called me and said that I had a 1099-c on me, as far as I know I didnt.  I called the IRS and they said I was free and clear.  They had no idea what they were talking about.  The IRS said get as much information as you can first.  Find out all information you can about what they are calling you about.  Careful they record you without your permission. They also discussed information with a non-family member and contacted other family member about it.
IF the IRS has anything about you, wait till they contact you (the IRS) first.

They called my house too and said they were looking for my brother and that it was a leagal matter and they had my brothers name and his age. they said they could not give me any more info. and that my brother should call the 1-866-645-6269 number asap. and ask for mrs kitchen. I called back and they were wanting my personal information and my brothers when i asked them thier last name they became really angry. this website help me alot.

My brother's brother in law got a call wanted me to call them back.  I called them back and they said I had an account past due.  They also said that it was a federal fraud investigation and the next time they talked to me I would be in handcuffs.  I never had an account with the company they mentioned.

Mrs. Stiegel called a family member from this phone number.  Said that she needed to talk to and stated my maiden name and married name.  She stated in the message that she had a file on her desk that was very important.  She left a reference number but never identified what it was actually about...  Isn't this type of thing illegal.

Called and left message for my brother. said that he or is attorney needs to call MS. Flynn at 866.645.6269 no later than today because of a serious legal matter.

This guys named by Casey Scott called my brother-in-law and left a message on his voice mail for my husband saying it was an important matter where he was the defendant and that it was urgent to call him back.  He IS RUDE, hung up on our face and threatened us.  He happened to be a collection guy trying to collect a debt from 6 years ago.  I am going to file a business complaint and look into my legal rights on this matter.
He personally called me arrogant and called me directly on my face to continue to threaten us.  I am extremely disappointed.  He made it seem and assumed already that we were not interested in paying this old debt back.

Gary Reason called my Mom and Dad. Telling them that this is some civil matter. Gray said he can't wait to "release this" and I better get an attorney. I so scared:)

I rec'd a coll from Mrs Flynn looking for my mother and that they had this as a contact number.  Asked for her by her ex husband's last name, said it was an urgent legal matter and that she or her attorney needed to call ASAP. i rec'd same call next day they said that it was a legal matter that she may not be aware of, that it was "set to go out today" and they really needed her to call them. I gave no info. and hung up.  They somehow got my mother's new mother-in-law's number and called her.  My mom returned the call, talked with a man who bullied her was able to name relative names, said it was a 1099-c form and her wages were going to be garnished and tricked her into giving him her SSN.  At that time he ab ruptly said that the summons would be sent and hung up. she called back and he was rude and hung up the phone.  Mom  was upset. thought for sure that it was a legal matter.  I got online and simply went to google and typed in the phone number desperate to help my mother with possibly the company name and location and was immediately put to this page much to my dismay and surptise but I am so appreciative that we knew that we needed to take immediate action against identity theft.  Thank You
