I called them back & the number is not in service.  What a surpise...

Received a call from a Mr David Ward supposed to be from Microsoft Operating Centre in Wilmington, Delaware.  He left a # 866-682-0649 ext 140.  Said my computer is sending messages to them that I have a virus.  I told him I was going to report him, he got really mad, gave me his name & employee number.  He says it is not a scam, ya right... So anyways just to see what happens when I call this phone #, you got it, this number is not in service.  These guys are getting very bold.  Maybe I should tell him I don't own any credit cards lol.

Got 7 calls Like this one people talk of to date.  Only asked for the # on this last one.  Each time they asked for my dad and I was the one that got my PC and installed windows and pay for the net.
odd.  So after call # 3 I was thinking it could be for real so I ask what should I do about the errors in my
PC he asked me to go to some site and download a program then run it and read him I # so I hung up the phon.  I think that # would be my ip.  Last think most PCs have dynamic ip in that it will pick the best network it can and u have a new ip for each one. I know my pc can do that I have checked my ip for other stuff.  So in short don't see how they can track my pc.  Last they sed my pc has a Virus and they would tell me how to fix it. if that was true they would not work for Microsoft or windows they would work for anti virus Like Norten or king soft...  Microsoft makes no anti virus I know of and I know I am not with Microsoft for my anti virus that I pay for each year.  Know the call is junk, has any one called them back? 866 682 0649

Got the call tonight from PRIVATE when he answered, his asian accent was so thick I could barely understand him but I am sure he said his last name was Johnson and he definately said he was calling from Microsoft. Gave me 1-866-682-0649 as a call back number when I asked questions.  Hung up on me when I asked for a case reference number or something to reference when I called Microsoft back.

Got a call from a guy saying our IP address was being hacked and he was calling from Microsoft.  Asked him a number of background questions and said I would get back to him.  He gave the 1866 6820649 number and I asked where he was calling from location wise.  He said Wilmington Delaware.  seemed to have lots of answers but I didn't bite.  Checked the Microsoft website and not able to verify.  Beware.  Issue Support Department at 35 Reucote and Reuben Mike was name given.

I just received a call from "Mr. William" his incoming number is 845-928-1836 he told me someone was hacking my computer via my IP address.  I said I didn't believe him unless he could verify who he is and exactly who he worked for.  He gave me the number 866-682-0649 to return his call.  When I looked both phone numbers up on line I found this site and many others with warnings.  Thank you.  I will be reporting this to the Canadian do not call list with the CRTC.

My sister was scammed by someone from this phone number. He called his site Fastheal.com and took her Visa  number and took $100 which he said it was because her computer was hacked. He said she is covered for a year. Then he would take another $100 in a years time. My sister has been very sick and is unable to work.

Caller Mike Anderson from Windows in Seatle Wash. Bogus caller with Foreing accennts with that name ????. Nice try A...ole.

I just received a call from a "Peter' and he says he is calling from Best Fix and that they are receiving an error message from my computer.  He couldn't tell me why or what the company was all about so I asked him for a number to call him back and got 866 682 0649.
