Got a message for my husbands stating to call a Richard Lewis because they had not been able to get anyone to answer the door from 8-12 today. Ugh I was home and nobody came to the house with so called papers. I called the number which was answered corporate office and was told even with the case number that it was a private matter only for my husband. I know that legitimate debt collectors will speak with spouses. I also called my bank who said this company had tried to access our account yesterday but could not get through the security questions. I think we will be contacting the police on this one.

I received a call from this number, have no idea who was ....He didn't leave any information just to get back to  him about a legal matter..googled the no.n found this link....boy oh boy.

Just got a phone call from this Richard Lewis for my landlord, at my NEW number that has never been hers.  He asked for her information, I refused and took his.  She has no idea what it is about, and I googled this number and find these comments.  This man gets around!  Very strange ...

I recieved a call at my job from these people( and my boss was upset at me about it), anyways i took the call the lady told me we have went by ur house and have been unable to reach you. we have papers u need to sighn for, i asked why she said cant give you that info. i said sent them to me thru the us postal servise she said no they have to be givin to you in person. i advised her i was at work and she then told me then we will come to your work and give you these legal documents that you need to sign for. i said no. the than told me to call richard the legal administrator at 866-739-1300 at 3pm today if you dony sighn these papers in 24 hrs then legal action will be taken for refusal to take and sighn these documents. then i came to this web page and to my surprise i found these comment. wow. im so mad that they called my work place. REALLY???? STUPID RICHARD...

My uncle receved a call for me from a Richard Lewis. just said that i missed a court date.
I have never gave his ph# nor an address,for anything. We dont even have the same last name.
he never left a buss. name just his own. told my uncle I had missed a court date and to call him back.
i never recived any summions in person nor by reg. mail. He did leave a case #, but Idont even know where to lok it up.

Received a similar call myself, no details, just keeps leaving messages with my family about some court papers.

got a call from Rechard Lewis.I called back he was rude when I told him that I was verifiying that phone call was not a scam,he got so upset said that i called his company a scam when I just wanted to make sure who the heck called me when I don't know of any money i owe to any body,since I never ever got any notice from anything about it in mail. and I always take care of my bill! I ask for something in writing he said the only thing in writing will be court papers!

Also got a call, also from a Richard Lewis for my step-daughter, who hasn't been living here for a while.

Recieved the same phone call

A coworker got a phone call from a Anthony Barber at this number and he wouldn't give her any information like a company name or anything. Just a case ID. He said he needed to know what our policy is for someone to be served at our office. She questioned him on if he was serving actual papers why is he calling and not just serving them. He got all flustered. Then we checked to see if she had any pending judgements anywhere and couldn't find anything or any court case that she would need to have any papers served. Not sure if this is valid or not or if it is just a scare tactic?

I got a phone call from a Richard Lewis telling me that I needed to be available to receive a court summons.
