Seems suspicious to me. Got a call from this guy saying that we were on over 10,000 databases some with banking info and thats why we got so many calls. said it was no cost to be removed from the databases but that they needed either check or bank account info to verify that the person who they were talking to was verified to make that decision. Told them I would call them back (not going to). The caller said his name was Jeff bloom.

My mom who has alzheimers had written this number down with the name Brian Foster.  She had also written down the name Jeff Bloom on a separate piece of paper and below the name her checking account number.  When I tried to call the number, the phone said "not a valid number".

A customer of FCB received a call this morning from an individual who said his name was Ryan Foster. The man sounded like he was in his 40's, no accent, fast talking, saying he was from FCB and needed the customers account number as they were updating accounts and needed to verify it. The customer refused to give his account number and was told if he didn't give it, his account would be closed and he would be responsible for any checks that were not paid. The caller gave the customer the correct routing number and even knew which check number was the next one he would write. The caller told the customer if he cooperated he would receive $300.00 worth of coupons he could spend however he wanted. The call came from 1-866-748-7554. When I called the number, a recording said "this is not a valid number".

My elderly father received a call from a man saying he was calling from Bank of America and identified himself as Brain Foster. He stated the bank was making some changes and wanted verification of the customers acct. no. He already had my fathers acct. info and promised to send some paperwork and 300.00 worth of coupons. My father told him he would go to the bank and take care of it personally. The bank mngr. at his local branch had no knowledge of any program of this nature.

Found the number and name "Brian Forster" on a scrap paper written by my 88 year old mother.  She must have gotten a phone call because she also wrote some notes like she was trying to figure out why he called her.
