These people called yesterday they wanted to sell me a extended warranty on my 2009 dodge. I have asked them over 10 times in the last 2 years to stop calling me. I have reported them to the FTC  twice and all these people did was pass my number to a different telemarketing site with a different number.

Multiple calls with no one there. Maddening!!

I get calls daily from this number. Found Incept's website; under "contact us" there is a place where you can enter your phone number to not be called by any of their clients. Why should I have to do this? Why do they not refer to the DNC list?

Incept has a Facebook page. I am considering posting a complaint on their Facebook page. But I'm sure they would delete it right away. Hhhmmm . . . maybe post it every day, at 8:47, just like they call us every day, at 8:47.

Got a call from this number at 10:45 AM PST today.

Just now (7:30 PM) I called it back and an answering message said it was Incept, and if I wanted to be put on their "Internal Do Not Call list", to "Press 1".  I did and put my number in.  Let's see if that stops the calls - or makes me get even more of them.

Even though you're on a "do not call" list, doesn't mean that people or businesses can't call you. The company likely got your number from an affiliate, whom you gave your number to and, unknowingly agreed to per the fine print, authorized to pass along. I gave my phone # to VistaPrint.com and accepted a free offer from Stamps.com. I figure that's how I got on their list. I instantly also got spam email that I had to go opt out of. Same M.O. ... they called three times, but hang-up when I answer.  Today I called the number back. There's an option to place your number on their internal DNC list -- press 1 then enter your complete 10-digit phone number to confirm. Takes up to 36 hours to remove from all their lists.

I just got a dead silence call from this #...

I know someone who developed software for collection agencies - the way the dialer machine works is that it's always calling people to have on the "ready" list - the "ready" list can never be empty.  If an operator becomes available the software throws the call to that operator.  If a "preset" time elapses it will hang up on you so as to not keep you waiting to the point of being too upset.

That's the reason for the silence and the eventual hangup or the potential connecting with an operator.

They call me every single morning at 8:47AM.  When I used to pick up it was silence, then dial tone.  Now I just consider it my morning wake up call.  Hey, not a bad free service if you think about it ;)

1-866-759-8002 calls and hangs up. What a shame they don't stop these people.  Maybe once the people who can stop it start getting these calls they will do something about it.

Keep getting calls from 1-866-759-8002 and when we answer there is dead silence.  After a few seconds of saying "hello" the phone disconnects????

Busy, busy, busy and this joker calls at the worst time. And we are on the "Do Not Call" list. How can a person ever finally STOP these harrassing telemarketing calls?
