This number is a part of Applicant Services, a new service that matches up jobseekers with employment opportunities. We receive resumes of people seeking employment from all over the country. When you call in, we ask you for some basic information -- never your social security number or anything similar -- and match you up with jobs that meet your criteria for employment. We do this as an absolutely free service to jobseekers. There will never be any charge, and we will never ask you for any sensitive or billing information.

I got a text from Anna from this number that asked me to call back about a employment opportunity. When I called they asked if I was still looking for a job. I am. So they confirmed my information and then matched me to a few jobs I could apply for. There were a couple I hadn't seen yet on the boards, so it was a pretty cool little service.

I called this number back, and Anna helped me get set up to start receiving jobs.  Seems cool.

i got a text from this number yesterday, and i called them back.  I talked to a girl named Anna.  She was cool, asked me some questions about jobs.  Hopefully something works out.

My wife got a text from Anna too. I think I'll tell her to call. They probably got her number from Hotjobs.com

I got the text from Anna as well. There was no caller ID. When I called I talked to a very nice young man whose name was Brian I believe. They sent me some of the jobs they matched me to. Some I had already seen on CareerBuilder and applied for. Some I had not seen so I applied for them. That is how it works.

This is so shady.
My text from "Anna" stated that she had seen my resume online.
1 - I've NEVER posted a resume online.
2 - My cell phone is not listed on my resume.
3 - Only my close friends and family have my cell phone number. It's never used for any type of applications or on any forms. Even my employer doesn't have my cell phone.

Also let's look at a few things here...
- The texts do not say what company the person is representing.

- The first person, "App Services", tells everyone what the number supposedly is - "part of Applicant Services, a new service that matches up jobseekers with employment opportunities - but never mentions a name."

- everyone that says they called back and "Anna" was oh-so-helpful, all posted on the exact same day as "App Services". (I noticed this on multiple who called me sites)

- and out of all the posts where people claim to have called the number back... not a single person has provided the name of the company.

A little strange don't you think?

I will not be calling "Anna" back. and I will be posting this elsewhere.
