I received this fax as well from NNRAA National Number Removal Assistance Association. The name is an obvious attempt at sounding official. They want you to fax your unwanted faxes to this number and supposedly they'll contact the senders and tell them to stop. Please. If it was that easy people could do it themselves. This is simply an attempt to identify working numbers so that they can add you to their own list and/or sell them to other parties.

I received a fax today from National Number Removal Assistance Association. I googled and tried to find any information of this company found nothing on them. I did find plenty of sites complaining about receiving faxes from them and no one has found any information that this is a ligimate company.
Thank you everyone for the messages to help us all stay clear of these type of "companies"

IT LOOKS LIKE SCAM. Thanks everyone above for leaving feedback. I will never contact them.

most unwanted faxes have a number that you can call to get off the list so why would anyone waste the time and money to re-fax a unwanted fax???

Just received the NNRAA fax, looked it up, found this site. Thanks for putting the word out that these guys are scamming.

got the same fax.agree that it is a scam. no such company on the net, so am sure they are just trying to find working fax numbers. Also there is no voice number to call, seems fishy to me. besides most junk faxes come with a number to call to remove your fax number, easier than sending the fax off to someone else anyway.

I'm glad I Googled the number. After reading all the above comments, no way will I make a call to rid the company of unwanted faxes. When it looks too good to be true, ...you know the drill.

I have started to call the voice numbers to complain -- often and repeatedly. But to maintain privacy and stick them with the charges, I call from a pay phone (there's still a few around). Now they get to pay about $1 for each one of my complaints. Not so cheap for them now . . .

Is there any way we could report this scam to an office/organization...If they claim to be a corporation by law they should have a license...and if they are scam at what they do they might be also violating the law...any ideas where to send this?

Probably true this is a scam, but what are they gaining?
They just faxed me the same letter. Since they faxed it to me, they already have my fax number. I suppose they are verifying that it is still in service and that I am gullible?

It's a scam; I googled the telephone number and was brought here; there's no such organisation as NNRAA.
