I asked to be removed from the mailing list and they removed me. They called me all the time. This collection agency also collects for Capital One credit cards...

Yes, Just got a new number from AT&T wireless and am getting these calls.  After a month with this number,and only giving the number to immediate family, I'm receiving calls from NCO.  Oh.yea, and I have a clean credit history and owe no one. I believe your right on about ATT,and the selling of phone numbers. I even told ATT,I wanted my new number unlisted......

Same thing happened to me.  Went to ER from a boating accident.  gave all my info and insurance.  About 8 months later I get these guys calling me.  Never got a bill from Barron, who ever they are...  I asked NCO to let me talk to Barron, they refused.  WTF is this?  amazing, I'm listed in the phone book, left them my insurance and all other info, state police had a record of the accident and yet Barron can find me to give me a bill or even an courtesy call..  Sounds like Barron should be investigated.  Now I've got to go fix my credit.

Just got a call from this number.  I called it back - "Thank you for calling NCO.  Your call is important to us.  Please hold for the next available agent."  After being on call nearly 3 min., I hung up and called again - 3 times?  The last time I got an agent on the first ring.  I told the girl I had received the call and wanted to know why.  She curtly asked for my number and the response was, "Wrong number".  "Wrong number?"  "Yes, its the wrong number and is no longer in the file."  She hung up.  Go figure.

This number just called me and didn't leave a message. I call them back and say that someone called me from their number. It was a collection call, but not for me. I just got a new phone number about a week ago from ATT. I guess they are looking for the woman that had my cell number before me. He said they would remove my number from the call sheet, so hopefully they don't call back.

Some moron from this company called and started yelling at me; looking for someone who doesn't live here; asked how they got my number and told me none of my damn business

I just switched to AT&T wireless for my cell phone.  Are you all using service from AT&T?  I am wondering if they are not giving these numbers out at start up knowing this company has harrassed someone else?  Oh and I was told they were looking for a Robert Morris.  It isn't me.

The name of the company is NCO the are a debt collection company so many times they think you are trying to mislead them about who you are that is why it is hard to get them to stop calling or get any real info. If your not the person they are actually looking for they can get into trouble for giving you any of the info about the person they are looking for.

I like the rest of you received a call from this number a few weeks back. Called back and there was No Mrs. Maclean as the message stated. Noone could tell me why they called. Again a few weeks later I got the same message except this time it said that it was a collection agency. So I called back. They girl who I spoke to was very rude. She couldn't find my number in the "system" even thought they are calling me. When I questioned who they collected for she said "everyone" and hung up on me. So I called back, spoke to another girl and when she said "How can I help you today" I nicely said first by ot hanging up on me and second by telling me who you collect for and why you are calling me if you can't find my number. She explained they are a medical collections agency who is not even licensed to collect in the state I live in. After all of this irritation I vent to my husband to find out they have also been calling him. I understand they have a job to do. If you have a bill then you should pay it but there has to be a way to keep them from calling people and harrassing them!! I have no medical debt and I can't stop them from calling me and leaving me messages and harrassing me!

Constant calls, no message. All hours of the day every day of the week.

I called the number back, using a phone that does not display the number.  They answered with a recording "thanks for calling NCO, please wait for the next available operator".  I then hung up.

I was called by this number while I was busy so I called them back ... but they hung up on me after a recorded voice told me I was calling NCO and a lady asked me why I called ._.

this is for NCO collection agency for emergency physicians group called Barron's Physician's group. The Doctors in the Emergency dept. at Southern Ocean County hospital in NJ use this service.   They are calling for a bill for physicians services the the insurance didn't pay for. This is from 2 years ago and is for 32 dollars.  I just got another one for 400 dollars from one year ago.  No bill from the Barron's group it's like it goes straight to collection.

Watch out for this debt collection agency, they are very sleazy in their collection methods and they are very rude and hostile. I am not in debt, in fact I have a good credit rating.  My son & I were in a car accident 8 months ago.  One of the obsucure docs who read an x-ray sent me a bill, and I called them with my insurance info. Then when there was a small balance to be paid ($49.00, the difference between what insurance paid and what was left over), I never got a bill (of course they swear it was mailed, but I never got it).  I started getting these calls on my phone, I didn't answer because I thought it was a sales call.  Only message they left said, "this call is very important, please call back immediately"  nothing about being a collection agency AT ALL!!  If they had said who they were, I would have called immediately!  Long story short, I almost had my credit ruined!!  If there is a remote chance that you have an unpaid bill floating around (from a doctor's appointment 8 months ago?) and you get a call from them, please call back.

KEEP LEAVING # ON MY CELL PHONE, HARD TO UNDERSTAND, SOUNDS LIKE MS MACLEAN.  THIS IS A NEW CELL#?  THEY WILL NOT SAY WHO THEY ARE TRYING TO REACH OR THE NAME OF THEIR COMPANY, BUT DO STATE THEY ARE A DEBT COLLECTION COMPANY

They call my cell, my daughters cell, etc. I have no idea why. They state that they are a debt collection company. I am not in debt. The lady who leaves the messages, says her name is Ms. Maclean(sp). How do I get them to stop?

These people piss me off! I just got a new cell phone for christmas and they wont stop calling me!!!!  They don't say who they are looking for when they call me, so how the *ell am i supposed to know who they want!!!

These guys are idiots! Some guy I don't know left my cell phone number with a hospital and now I get calls every few months evan after I tell them that I am not the dead beat they are looking for.

These people are relentless -- they are looking for someone who is not me, not close in name, not even right gender. I tell them to take my number off their list and get another call in an hour.
