I did the same thing and wouldn't give my social or address.  They then wanted the best number to reach me, I told them obviously the one you called me on.  She was then insistent on knowing if the number was mobile or land line, what the hell does that matter.  She asked me which it was like six times in a row.  Felt like I was on a Jr High playground, and added that I didn't know the law and had to tell her which it was.  I finally got tired of laughing at her and hung up.

they called me and was asking if i could provide them with my date of birth.  told them no,  that they had called me. wouldn t give any information as to who they were or what call was regarding.

Called two different times with a recorded message on my voice-mail. not very professional. If they have a debt to collect then it's a lazy way to do go about things. What happened to real people calling you?

I get calls from them, too...let 'em eat static, if they're too lazy or incompetent to leave a message!  If I owe someone money, I'll go through them directly...not a debt collection agency!

I have a fairly new number from T-Mobile and all of a sudden a series of these non stops calls are costing me. since I am on a limited budget please stop these calls. These Calls are for MS. Claudia Garcia. And I am not her.

debt collector  N C O

They called my cell phone several times and left a message, saying I had a debt I needed to settle.  Finally I called them back and they said this was in reference to a debt owed by a woman whose name I did not know, but that they had my phone number on file as being hers.  I explained that my phone number was not her phone number, and they said that they will remove my number from their file.

Just got a new pre paid phone to creep on the low low and these guys keep calling me I should buy the company and fire them all Hove...
