HOW CAN WE STOP THIS PEOPLE??

I received call from sharon in california saying my resume interested them in banking job, they said to go to proapp.com and fill out application, I just looked up phone # it was 800-890-2808, What is these peoples deal.Now i find all these other people that need job real bad also.mine was left on answering machine, I never called them back after reading this.

I got a call from this same number at about 6:00 pm California time saying to go to jobproapp.com to fill out an application. They said after i filled out the application that I would get a call for an interview. I think it's a hoax. Be careful about giving out you info. What state are you from? Everyone has been getting calls from this number saying the same thing: 1 866-220-6778, read all the comments that everyone is saying.

I recieved a message from this number today. I called it and it said to go on line.  Please correct this asap!!!  HUGE SPAM!

I just received the same call from Sharon for a banking position.  Since I have absolutely no experiance in that area I decided to do some research and came across these postings.  Good thing I was too suspicious to visit their website.  Thanks for all your input.

I just received a recorded call from Sharon telling me that she saw my resume and had a position for me. I just needed to go to admincareercenter.com and there would be a description of the job and if I just fill out an application she would get back to me. But that site is not what she claimed and I got concerned something was wrong so I went to this site and found out that lots of people are getting these calls. This is very frustrating when you need to find a job and people like this take advantage of that need.

I received the call at 5:46 p.m. 1/3/08 but from 1 -800-737 2319 and a lady named Sharon also left me a message about being the right fit for a job.  Did not specify what job and directed me to go to jobproapp.com and fill out the app and that she would call back to schedule an interview.  I guess this is a fraud.

Jan. 5, 2008.  Today I received a call from Sharon to apply for a Human Resources job. There is not website jobproatt.com.  This is a scam.

I received a call from the admincareercenter.com but not at the number you described. I received a call 2 weeks back from that number but this one was  800-737-2319. I am having it traced but no luck yet

I received the same kind of call today for a customer service position, and  they left a message for the website.  Who are these people.  We are getting ready to move and I have my resume at careerbuilder.com,  monster.com and snagajob.

Same thing for me. I received a message on my answering machine that basically stated what everyone else received. It sounded like a recording directing me to log on to the web site and fill out an application.

Who is 202-000-0000

Well, I received this call, provided some fake yet legit information (I am a investigator at my local police department) I set a IP Address find on them. Located their so called "business HQ". We contacted their local authorities and told them the situation, and after countless of hours of faxing evidence to them, they put a warrant on them and sent for a Identity Theft bust. I jUst received a call from these people. And like most of you, I was asked to go to their web site and fill out an application. The "funny" thing is that they said my resume was just perfect for a banking manager position they had. Since I never had or ever will have any banking experience, I was very suspicious. After reading what all of you have written, I think I'm gong to PASS on submitting any info.  thx

Count me in as getting a call from this number and also having my resume on careerbuilder. Weird thing is that I put it on there months ago and haven't visited the site since I got a job in October - then I get this phone call today (12/28).

I got a call from a woman named "Sharon"(it sounded like a recording), saying that she saw my resume on Careerbuilder and it "looked like I would fit one of their positions." She told me to go to jobproapp.com to fill out an application and that she would scheldule me for an interview. Well...I went to the site it say litte if anything about the company(huge red flag). DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION! It sounds like a scam.

I received a call from "Sharon" the day after christmas. I didn't think about going to the website until today and when I did a Yahoo search on it, a page full of websites came up with similar names (jobproapp, jobproapps, jobproatt, etc.). I clicked on the one for jobproapp.com and it went to a site called quantum I think and said the site was served by fewer than 2000 people. I haven't tried to call the number back yet. I didn't receive any emails from them but my resume is on careerbuilder and monster. I didn't get any text messages from them either, but with metro, you can't receive texts like that anyway.

I just got a call from 866-890-2808 but I didn't answer.  Who ever it was did not leave a message.  My curiouslity got the best of me so I googled the number and came to this site.  Boy, am I glad I didn't answer the call.  I, too, have my resume on CareerBuilder.com.  About 2 months ago I updated my resume as "not searchable" (or however it is worded) and ever since then I have been recieving lots more spam than usual. I don't know what is going on but CareerBuilder has some explaining to do.

Got a call from Sharon said to go to jobproatt.com and fill out an online application. Said she saw my resume on line.  Went to the site nothing there to view about a resume.  How do these scammers get our number

I've received several emails "in repsonse to my resume"....I also posted my resume on careerbuilder. Now, I've just received my first phone call. The "application" is nothing more than questions regarding college and consolidating loans.  I hate spam.

I also got the call on Dec. 17 from a Sharon stating she saw my resume online and I fit a position they were hiring for. She never stated the position in the message, but said to go online and check out the job and fill out the app if I felt I was right for the position. This is a Major SCAM. They don't need to know my cell phone info. They might not be able to steal your identity, but they call charge calls to your cell phone and your have to pay the bill when it comes in.

Rec'd another call from someone named Sharon letting me know that she'd seen my resume and has a position she knows I'd be perfect for. Just need to go out to jobproapp.com and fill out an app and she'd call about an iterview. This is the second call I've received from this same person. I think it is really a shame for people who are looking for employment(like me)to be used as prey for these people.
She called on my cell phone and there wasn't any identification as to the company. I called the number back and got the same message everyone else seems to have gotten.

CALL FROM SHARON, STATING SHE THOUGHT ME RESUME WOULD BE SUITABLE FOR AN UNKNOWN POSITION. RECIEVED DEC. 26, 2007 @ 6:43 PM. THIS IS A SHAME AND NOT FUNNY. GOING TO THIS BOGIS WEBSITE CAN PUT OUR COMPUTERS IN DANGER. SHORTLY AFTER I VISITED MY COMPUTER CRASHED.

I got a call just like all the others from 866-890-2808, as well as i do have my resume posted on career builder and hot jobs. I let both of them know if we all do that maybe this will put a stop to the spamers. I let the national do not call list know because my cell phone and home phone numbers are on ther so they can take care of them aswell. GOODLUCK!

I also received a call today and I have no idea who this is from.

This afternoon I got a call (while I was out) with a message from Sharon informing me that she recieved my resume as an administrative assistant, and I am to go to jobproapp.com to fill out an application. Once I fill that out she would call back.  I go to review the job application they want to know what servicer is my cell phone through...what does that have to do with me applying for a job?? So I put in an area code and 000 then continue - it didn't go any further - said error and to contact site administrator. So, since I have caller ID, I called the number Sharon called from. Sharon's voice message said that if calling for any reason other than to confirm website address to call her cell phone number - WHICH SHE FAILS TO GIVE!!!

I received a call today 12/26/2007 at 11:45 a.m. from 866-890-2808 stating the same thing I have been reading about from other postings.  I believe this is SCAM so be very careful.  Sounds like identify theft ring.

12-26-07 I also received a call from 866-890-2828 about seeing my resume on a website.  They have a job that I would be perfect for and to go to the website jobproatt.com to fill out an application and I will be contacted.  What a scam! What a waste of time and money! These jobsite place better take a look at how many SCAMS we honest people looking for a job get!  I get many from Nigeria asking for me to cash a check and send them the $$$$ (It was on Nightline or one of those evening news shows) All I can say is BE CAREFULL!!!!
