they called me, their contact # is Toll Free 1-888-700-8181 (prompt 1) and their website is http://www.advanceme.com/contactus.html, ask for a supervisor right away and be sure to be firm otherwise the customer service person will get your info and you just want to make a complaint about it.  I talked to Stacy Roman and she was very nice, if you feel like an operator treated you poorly, get their name and talk to a supervisor!!  the company name is Advance Me, Inc.

Call the FTC and complain every time these scammers call. I do. After 1000 complaints the FTC might do their job!

Got the call today. Asked for someone that hasnt worked for the company in 7 years. Then asked for someone else that doesnt work in my office. Asked if he was owner i said no. He asked who was the owner. I said you tell me what you want. He hung up.
I tried to call the number back put it kept ranging.

They call almost everyday looking for the owner, and the owner simply doesn't want to talk to telemarketers. Today they said te name f the company is "Capital Access". They either tell me its a  personal business matter with the owner or they say they will call back later and hang up. NO DON'T CALL BACK LATER.

Apparently our home phone number was a business number before we got it. I'm getting calls from this number and they ask for a specific person by name every time. As I have before I told the guy to please put our number on his do not call list he told me I would have to call the phone company and have them remove the number from the phone book. I finally yelled and cursed at him and then hung up. I got to thinking after I hung up, how could he be calling from a phone book and have someone's name? Strange calls. And when I called back I either get a message that the number is disconnected or get a fast busy.

This number called my home phone today and asked to speak to my husband. I told her he was unavailable and asked if I could take a message. She refused to identify herself or who she was calling for.  I added that he would not accept her call without her leaving a message (he is a business owner and always screens calls due to unwanted telemarketing). She launched into me with "You're very unprofessional and I don't want to do business with someone whose receptionist is an idiot." and then hung up the phone.  I tried to call the number back, but it rang with no pick up.

Called asking for a manager who hasn't been with us for over a year. I explained he wasn't here and I would be able to help him. The guy was RUDE and wouldn't leave a message, wouldn't discuss the "business matter" with me. Wouldn't tell me what this was in reference to.

When I asked him for the 3rd time what I could do to help him, he said "Hey lady listen to this" and hung up.

I tried to call this number back and it just goes to an answering service.

I'm LIVID. How dare these people call and harass us!

These desperate useless companies are nothing more than scum. What works for them is scum and what owns them is scum. Why are they allowed to even use a phone?

Asked to speak to owner, guy said he was from AMI in Atlanta. Could hear other voices in background, sounded like a call center.I hung up.

Same thing..they wanted to speak to the owner..they wouldnt tell me what it was in ref too..she got very nasty and rude and said "do you want my 1st born too?" I said the owner was not available..she told me I was useless and hung up. I HATE TELEMARKETERS!! GET A REAL JOB!!!

This number called and asked to speak to the owner. I asked what it was in regards to, and they said "a financial matter". I asked what type of 'financial matter', and they got short with me and said it was something they needed to discuss with the owner. I informed them that I am the owner, and asked what it was in regards to. The woman then insisted she get my name. Before giving her my name, I wanted to know what she was angling for, so she told me she needed to know who she was speaking to first, and hung up on me. Deceptive and aggressive- no one I ever want to deal with!!!

LOOKING FOR OWNER RUDE AND HUNG UP WHEN NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK WITH ME.

Caller wanted the owner.  I said mr. smith wasn't available at the moment. I asked his name I company, he said Jay at AMI.  When I asked what that was, he got insistant to speak to the owner. "Is this Ms. Smith?" "Is this Ms. Smith?" "Is this Ms. Smith?" Very high pressure and rude. He deserved his hang up!

Received a call and could hear people in a call center in the back ground...no one would talk but I heard whispers and I listened carefully and heard..."wait until they hang up and then we can get on the internet"...what the heck. Because I answer the phone with the company's name ...I'm assuming they were either now going to look us up on the internet or somehow try to get on our internet. The people out there that do this crap! I can't believe there are places out there that actually pay people to do this...UNBELIEVABLE!
