I have Sprint and I got 2 messages this week saying my Aloha Pacific FCU card has been deactivated. The number they want me to call is 888-419-0485. I have an 808 number but live in California now and have never heard of APFCU.
I tried calling the 888 number from my work cell but it always hangs up after a few rings.

i'm on sprint and get the scam text messages...sometimes while driving...using up my minutes...seems like sprint, att, and t-mobile management can find a way to stop them...maybe mobi or another carrier is immune?...

I got same text from 8669252037@kalanet.com Sunday nite. Also exact same message from "Credit Union N.A." previous Fri. And yes I have T-Mobile. I was freaked too, but then realized credit unions do not operate this way. Can't T-Mobile block these things?

hmm... did T-Mobiles customer been compromised..very possible. so far seems like only those belong to T-Mobiles has been effect by this spamming. if anything, mighta been insider work? Would call them up and keep them informed of spamming and possibility of "Who" ever might have access to Database with listing of numbers?
| Skye 2011-06-06 21:03:44 Unknown |
Aloha Pacific FCU posted a Fraud Alert message regarding the texts on their main site. I'm also t-mobile and i've received two messages, one from this number and one for a banetele.no. Do you think t-mobile numbers have been compromised?

I got identical message just as your about 5 mins ago. Like you, I don't bank with Aloha Pacific FCU. why do I get the feeling someone is out there to scam us with these 866 numbers? I did the Google on Aloha FCU and their toll free Number is with 877. here's link to what I found. http://www.kalanet.com/index.cfm
Anyone have any input with this???
