wanted to  call

Maxine Billing left a message at my work from this number claiming I had comitted fraud and would be prosecuted.  She said the Sheriff would be coming out to both of my addresses listed on the paperwork.  Neither of the addresses she said are mine.  This is the second time they have called both times I was supposed to be visited by the Sheriff.  They have also called my dad looking for my husbad.  When I ask them for any info they will give me none.  This has to be a scam.

Recieved message on my machine that a Donald Bradley was calling, said that it he was an investigator, and was with legal action recovery, that the call was in connection with a civil complaint that was going to be filed in another county in my state on case# ..... and that the call was an voluntary attempt to contact me before letigation important to contact him, failure to do so would result in court action and a summons to be issued.  I called, it is definately a collection agency, using lots of insinuating language, trying to say that my ex had a credit card that was issued just before our divorce 17 years ago and had been kept current til 2003 and that I was going to be held libel for the 5000 owed on the deliquent card.  WHAT A SCAMMING LIAR........haven't seen that deadbeat dad for years! And not a surprise that he's not paying his debts! The adacity of these liar's!
