Received a recorded call from them yesterday about needing to talk to them about our credit cards.  Hung up.  They called the next day, same message.  I waited and pressed 9 to get a live person.  They wanted to know how to help, I reminded them that I was on the no-call list and they stated "oh" and hung up.  I filed a complaint with the National No-call registry

Involves your credit card.  Nothing is wrong but imperative that we speak with you......or something to that effect.  May have been a recording.  I didn't listen to the whole message.  I hung up.  This call seems to come in frequently.  I expect it's a telemarketer.

I received a call today, March 11th, 2010, from 872-000-6279 saying (in an automated recording) that it was urgent this company speak with me regarding my current credit card account. It also says nothing is wrong with the account, but I am eligible for savings for a limited time. they say to press "9" to speak to someone. I did and requested I be put on their "do not call" list. They immediately hung up without responding to my request.

Just calling to ask if you want to lower your interest rate to 6.9% on credit cards.  No name or company on caller id.

I just had a call from this number.  I am glad that I did not answer --- especially after looking the number up.  I am also on a no call list for state and national.  This should be stopped!

A recording telling me that they can help with my high interest credit card debt. I pushed 9 to speak with rep. When he (Dan) finally answered, I asked to please be taken off his call list. He laughed and hung up.

These "Card Services" people don't give up.  I got a call from this fake number after blocking four of their previous numbers (one of which is actually a sex line.)  I simply tell them the opposite of what they want to hear and they hang up.

I got the same thing about them being able to lower any and all credit card interest rates.  I asked if she was going to ask me for my cc number as I wasn't going to give it to her.  She went on with some long song and dance about how they are a govt agency and how it would be illegal for her to sell my cc number to anyone.  I told her I would contact my cc company directly if I needed assistance with this sort of thing.  She said "good luck with that dumb lady" and hung up on me.  Oh brother!

This is clearly a phishing scam.  They offer to lower your credit card(s) interest rate.  They tell you that the work closely with "your" credit card companies.  But if you ask them what credit card companies they work with so you can verify, they hang-up.  I love to toy with these people.  For every minute of their time you waste, it's a minute that they arn't scamming some little old lady.  Never give out your personal information.

I pressed 9 and got a rep.  I asked for a website that I could look at regarding his company and he said to hold.  Then he hung up.  Do NOT give ANY information to this company!!!

I did dial *57 and was told a $1.00 charge would be added to my account.

same as above, but when I pressed 9 and got a rep on the phone I politely asked to be removed from their list and he just said "it will never happen" and  hung up. This was to my cell and when I tried to call them back it said the number was changed or disconnected.

i got a call from these jokers today. same as above, recording telling me to push 9 to talk to a "service rep"....

i pushed 9, got some jack*** on the phone, he immediately asked my how much cc debt i had, then for the 800 number on the back of one of my credit cards, and then my CREDIT CARD NUMBER. i told him this sounded like a scam, he said "no. it's not. do you want to talk to my manager ?"  as if his "manager" was somehow going to get me to believe all this b***s*** and get me to give him my CC number.

Here's a tip: anytime you get calls like this, hang up, then dial *57  you'll get a message "Call trace activated. Please hang up and dial your local law enforcement for further assistance".  This activates the phone company's call trace system. if they get 3 *57 calls for the same number from you, an investigation is launched.

I stayed on to speak to the representative and asked them to take me off their call list and they hung up. The number does not let you call them back to offer comparable harrassment.

I have received several of the same calls. I pressed 9 to ask which credit card it was in reference to. The woman said it was to get the interest rate lowered on any of my existing accounts. I asked why they are allowed to bypass the Do Not Call registries since they are clearly soliciting something. She hung up.

Same as other post -- credit card, nothing wrong, Please call back to get low interest rate.
My number is on no-call list, both state and nationally.  Help take out this violator.
