He called me one time about a week ago and said I won a Benz then called me this morning I thought it was a prank call so I conversed with him rudely for a few minutes he claimed he got my number from his dreams and said he wanted to be friends I told him I had enough friends and didn't need anymore I called him stupid several times and hung up he called again and answered what do you want he again claimed the same response asking me not to hang up. I hung up again and proceeded to call 4 or 5 times I answered again sfter ignoring those calls and reading these responses and told him if he called again I would report him to my police station in America and he hasn't called back.

This same David Miller just called me and told me the same thing. When I told him I could not drive and wasn't going to get a card, he got angry. I asked him why he was being rude if I was the one losing the supposed "prize money and car". He said he wasn't angry, he just hated to see a nice lady not be able to claim this life changing amount of money. He is a God fearing man and swore on his wife and children that this is not a scam. What jerks!!!  Please do not fall for this.

Just received a call from "howard" who says he is calling from Publisher Clearing House and I just won 2 million dollars and a Mercedez..  I told him I hadn't submitted anything to PCH and he said my bank and the grocery stores around me submitted a number for me because i pay my bills and taxes on time.  He said to claim my prize I needed to have 2 forms of identification and some kind of Green Dot Card (I don't even know what that is).  When I told him that this was a bogus phone call and he was trying to scam me, he hung up.  He called from 876-281-1422

2.5 M$ and a 2013 Mer-Benz... Wow...   wanted 500$ on a green dot card.  Only got  $200 out of me but that is too much.   Kept it going though .   sent me an e-mail "Publisher Clearing House" letter head  and within that trash paper shows up wanting $2500 and for me to go to western union and send it to the designated person which he will tell me of at the time I have the money.......Then I get the $2.5M and the car

My 10 year old son got a call from 876-358-5946 and I answered it. He said I had won 2.5 million and a sky blue mercedez benz. He wanted me to go to Wal-Mart and put $105 on a Greendot MoneyPak card. I could tell it was a scam because he started getting short with me when his instructions for me would not work. You're right, the person did sound like a robot and I even made fun of him when I imitated his voice.

My mom just got a call today from a David Miller with an accent and told her she won money also and a car. Said about the same things about being from Publisher's Clearinghouse and needing a Green Dot Card that you can get from Wal-Mart and she would need to put 100.00 on it. She called me and I looked it up and thanks to your post, I knew it was a scam. So I called the number and told him I knew that he was a scam and to leave my mom alone and told him they were on the internet listed as a scam. Maybe they will leave people alone, doubt it, but hoping.

Scam Clues: (2.5 mil from Publishers clearing house)
1. Person can barely speak english.
2. You have won something you never entered.
3. When you ask who they are calling they don't know.
4. When they ask you if you are currently near your home town and you say no, I'm currently in Africa, they get pissed off and call you a MF Doushbag.

I told them to bring the money to my house but of course they didn't know who I was or were I lived.

Always ask them questions they should know. No one will ever call you out of the Blue and give you money. No legitimate prize Company, lawyer or bank would ever ask for fee's or taxes to give you something that is supposedly yours.

I just received a call said I won $2 millions and to go to Walgreen or Walmart and put $250 on a green dot card while he stay on the line

I just got the same phone call! Except HE told me that I would have to Western Union $400 government taxes- package 870-39.  His name was "James Navaro" and that he is from "publishers clearing house"

James Robinson said I had won a Mercedes and 5 Million dollars.  $450 (Western Union) deposit for "taxes" would be refunded upon receiving my gift. He was really insistent about finding out if I wanted a public or private ceremony "filmed" like on TV.  He asked if I lived alone.

the 876 area code is a scam they used to call me when they called i played with them gave them a 14 digit card number then they would try to process it of course there was no money i usually let them call for a couple of days then i tell them i know this is a scam then they will threaten me and i would laugh real loud on the phone and say you cant even afford to get an airline ticket then he would hang up several others guys called and i did the same thing to them now i can say its been 14 months since the last time they called me the jamacans all know i know its a scam so they dont call anymore..i have to admit i had fun doing this

My wife just got the same call.  Identified himself as with Publishers Clearing House.  Said for her to send him $185.

I got the same call.. And I actually sent them ..$200 said his name was Michael Smith. Sais I would receive my package at 230. Come 230 they called and wanted more money. After I found I had been scammed I wanted to get the money back but unfortunately they had already picked up the money. Sent money to Daniel Kid. El Dorado. Arkansas. Ugh how I feel so stupid...

The man me that I won 3.5 million dollar and a new car. And I had to do is go to a western union and send him 1,000.00 to get my money. What kind of fool he take me for.

Jamaican sweepstakes scam, besides there is a South Georgia winner from last night's Mega Millions drawing

Recieved a call on Monday, November 26, 2012 from a David James  876-377-8102, who said he was with Mega Millions and. that I had won 2.5 million dollars and a benz. He said UPS would diliver at 1pm that same day. I Hung up and he called back. When he called back I could hear children in the background so I ask why do I hear children in the background. His reply was what does that matter you are a winner. I said this call is being traced and he hung up.

I got same call as you moose except he told me i won a lambo.  I called my local authorities and had it sent to paper i recorded his call with me.

Just got a call from a "David Peterson" who couldn't speak English well, he called from 876-358-5946. I was apparently selected to win a $3.5 million prize and a 2013 Mercedes Benz...all I need to do is call: 876-358-5946 with the information he provided me and pay $176...

Received a call from this number.  I asked who was calling.  The man identified himself as James Parkinson? with the MegaMillions Lottery?.  He sounded like he was from India. I couldn't really understand him & told him so.  I then asked how he got my number, and he repeated himself adding something about third place and a Mercedes Benz that would be arriving for me today.  I asked him to have my number removed from his list, and he promptly hung up on me.  SCAM  ALERT!!!!!!

Tired of these a**les calling. Is this really why they were put on this earth?
