Called and told me I won 1.5million dollars from publisher clearing house and keep asking was i at home it really created me out

gotten phone call on dec 31 saying i won 125 million and a BMW told me tht i had to go to Walmart get green dot card m pay 199.22 to show tht im the person who won n they were coming to my house jan 2 at 1130 am w the car n check. i said you don't pay for something you've won . they called me 4 times in two days its bs i fell for scam like this one, lost 900.00

Yes, these low life Scum Buckets called me also, and I did not answer the phone...People will do ANYTHING TO STEAL in today's world (Your ID, Your Bank Account, SS #, ETC). The morals in America have gone down the toilet due to infiltration of people Via Internet, telephone, and Illegals, that have NO MORALS!!! I am from the old school era where you were taught by Parents & at School, that stealing was a sin, and the penalty would be greater then the crime. DO NOT answer any calls that you do not recognize the number for. I have caller ID, and when the phone rings if I do not recognize the #, I do not answer. If it is a legitimate call they will leave a message. Do not think that the Law or our Government will stop this Crap, it will only get worse!!!

I received a phone call this morning from Harry Peterson @ 1-876-281-6218, I was advised that I had a certified cashier's check in the amount of $14.5 Million Dollars, Cashiers Check #144501, Pin# 9124. I was told that I would have to call Lee Duncan the Claims Manager to claim my prize @ 1-876-850-1370. I was told that my entry was due to the fact that I pay my bills on time and my favorite store is Walmart. (ROTFLMAO, Really?) Anyway, they then advised me that I would have to go to Walmart and purchase a Greendot Money Pack for $125, then changed it to $120 and call back after I have purchased the greendot card. Never once were they able to identify my real name or address. So if you know that my bills are paid on time, wouldnt my address be registered. And that fact that they called on a cell number that I have only had since recently took the cake. Harry/Lee even went so far as to ask me would l like for the prize package to be delivered public or private. I suggested Public and then he mentioned he would need my address to confirm that the news casters would be there when the check is delivered. But if I won, you should already know my name if not my current address... I just wanted to share my story, cause I was excited at first until they mentioned that I would have to purchase something to get the check. PCH Checks are Free, you do not have to make a purchase to win.

my mother recieved a call everyday sence monday. the day after my father passed away....claiming to be the neice and one the nephew of my father....for sure trying to get info and get a #piece of the pie# so to speak...these people need to be stopped!!!

They called at 9am this morning saying they were from the plublishers clearing house and i had won 50k and they were going to deliver my cashiers check today and wondered why i had not returned thier letters... i kept saying i dont know and they finally hung up on me

I got the same phone call on my cell today telling me that I won $500,000 from publishers clearing house but that in order to pay the taxes I needed to go to Wal-Mart and get them a $75 moneypac card to pay the men who would be coming to my house with the cashiers check. A guy with a horrible accent named "Harry Peterson" asked me if I was in my car going to get the card and said he would call me back in 5 minutes. Needless to say I blocked the # 876-281-6218. How stupid can these people be?? I sure hope no one else falls for this!

Gotta love this guy! He called me on Saturday and I hung up on him so he calls me back on Monday.  Same as everyone else-you've won the PCH $500,000 certified cashiers check and will I be home tomorrow to claim it?  Problem is, he can't tell me the address that he's going to deliver the check to and the I need to call Lee Duncan at the claims Dept to set it all up.

Somehow I got entered because I pay my light and water bill ontime.  Odd considering I have a private well and the electricity is in my wife's name.

Oh and just as a side note, the zip code he could give me for the town I "live" in was a gov't zip code used only by the state gov't people, it doesn't even really exist in my "town"

I received a phone call from this number, from a "Harry Peterson", (with his heavy Jamaican accent), supposedly from Publishers Clearning House telling me I had won a prize of $500,000 and he asked me if I was at home to recieve my "certified cashier's check". I told him I was at work. He wanted to know if I would be home by 5pm to recieve the check while the banks were still open. I told him no. He stated I needed to call his Supervisor "Lee Duncan" at 876-850-1370 at 8:30am and give this supervisor a claim number and he would give me more info. I asked him how he got my cell phone number, (which is listed on the do not call list) to which he replied something about Walmart, and my utility bills. I told him, that's funny, I don't have any utility bills in my name. I said where are you calling from? He says: Plainview, TX. I said that's funny too, because I've traced your number back to Kingston, Jamaica.  

So, longer story shorter... I waited untl 5:00am and called ol' Harry back. Awww.. poor baby, I think I woke him up. :( I asked him if it was OK that I had went ahead and reported him to the National Consumer League's National Fraud Information Center (which I actually did). He got extremely defensive at this point, and lets just say by the end of the conversation his last words to me before he hung up on me were, (and excuse HIS language), "S*** My ****, Bi***!" Oh Me Oh My!! Aren't we a little testy at 5:00am getting woke up in the middle of the night.. ?? Who knew??? lol! And so professional at that, for being a Publishers Clearing House Rep!! Please, don't fall for this scam. Unless you wan't to mess with this guy and his "supervisor" at your next get together. I'm 100% on board with The Angry 876 Consumer above. Have all your friends call him all day and all night long even. I think I might post it on my facebook page for all 315 of my friends to call him, and his supervisor today. Just to tell him to "have a nice day".

I recieved a phone call from this number.  They said I had won 300,000 dollars.  I would need to buy a $325.00 card from Walmart to give them when they gave me the cashiers check.  When I told them I couldn't understand him, anothetr man came on and mentioned I needed to have the card or they couldn,t give me the $500,000 I had won.
