Caller called himself Bill Cartwright and claimed to represent Publisher's Clearing House and wanted to know why I had not claimed my prize which had been awarded in Dec.  I told him that I had received no such communication and that the mails had been bad in Dec, - which was true.  The stupidity of his approach was revealed when he claimed that the amount was over $5 Million - an amount that PCH has not awarded in years - and which they would award with the van, the flowers, and the balloons along with media whoop-la - I may be old but I'm not dumb - I hung up.

876 404 7295 shows up as JM Kingston, initially the call came in as Unknown Number.  The caller asked for a person who did not live here, when I told him that he had a wrong number he immediately became vulgar and then went on to tell me that he knew who lived here.  I told him not to call this number again, the caller then began cursing me initially calling me a *itch and the language became nastier until I hung up on the poor fool.  Amazing isn't it?  Our U S government uses OUR money to track & store sthe phone calls of its citizens but can't use OUR money & technology to block harassing scammers from dialing its citizens here in the USA.

I got a call from a man with a Jamaican accent telling me I won Publisher's Clearing House $25,000,000 first prize. He called three times when I asked him not to call back, but seems to have stopped now. The number was 1-876-404-7295 that I was supposed to call.

This Jamaican number is used by very brutal and aggressive scam artists who target elderly citizens in the United States to inform them they have won millions of dollars and must send a fee via Western Union for shipment of the winnings to the U.S.  If one does not comply, the callers identify themselves as being with the FBI and threaten to have the victim arrested, and repeat the victim's address so that the victim knows they know how to find her/him.  Additionally, they may ask to speak to relatives of the victims and make the same demands, threatening violence, including rape and murder of the original elderly victim.  If confronted, they become enraged and continue calls to harass and threaten violence.  Scammers have a Jamaican accent and share this line, which may be a cell phone.
