Received phone call advising I won 3.5 million and a new Mercedes. Noticed on my caller ID it came from Jamaica. I said I don't believe it and that it is a scam of some type. I hung up. He called back trying to assure me it was legit. When I wouldn't cooperate further he advised too bad it is my loss. When asked where he was calling from he said Las Vegas and asked then how come it shows on caller ID from Jamaica and he advises something about off shore phone. Wonder how many they have scammed.

A Dozen Ways to Protect Yourself
The next time you get a "personal" letter or telephone call telling you "it?s your lucky day," the Federal Trade Commission encourages you to remember that:
Legitimate sweepstakes don?t require you to pay or buy something to enter or improve your chances of winning, or to pay "taxes" or "shipping and handling charges" to get your prize.
If you have to pay to receive your "prize," it?s not a prize at all.
