My mother is being scammed by this man, and we as a family do not know how to convince her that this is a scam. They have taken so much from her already, it is very hard on the family. She honestly believes these people so much so that they convinced her to change her phone number and then not tell any of her family, we did get the number out of her. It's rather frustrating.

Yeah, I got a call from those f****rs too! Only this time that prick was calling himself " Paul Robinson". He said that their lawyer , this c*** named "Marion Smith" and their account manager, this other c*** named "Debra Johnson", along with this f** named "Roy Cooper" (promotion manager) would contact me or show up and do a presentation to award me my 1.2 million dollars and Mercedes. They even went as far as giving me a package #40159 and an actual check #1108541135. Big balls moth******ers even furnished me with a crock-of-s*** activation #00000000005109. You know, I got all this info cause these f****n a***oles actually had me going for a while until I asked "Mr. Robinson" what his company actually did. His answer was sweepstakes, all a bunch of b***s***! The kicker was when he gave me a rocketmail web address. WTF!!! After looking up the address and not finding anything on "Windstar", I came across this s***. I tried calling that prick Paul back, but he won`t answer his f****n phone. I wanted to thank them for making me a millionare and I can`t wait for them to show up for my presentation. That`s when I shoot all of those pricks in the f****n knees! F****N A***OLES!!!

Got a call from 876-787-0552.  Sounds about the same.  Claimed to be calling from "Windstar (Winsor?) Sweepstakes and Lottery" in cooperation with "Mega Millions".   I had won $250,000 and a Mercedes Benz.  He gave me another number 876-275-4231 and started to say something about a confirmation or claim code.  He kept insisting that my telephone number was randomly generated as the winner.  I did not stay on the phone long enough to hear (barely understand him anyway) how I was supposed to get this prize.  Looked up this sweepstakes and found this page while he talked.  Be careful.  Sounds like this is a scam that has been going on for a while.

I received a call from this number.  The caller said his name was "Bob Brown" and he was in Las Vegas.  He told me I had randomly won XXX million dollars and a Mercedes.  Before we got to the part where he asks me for my bank account information, I told him I needed to verify that the call was legitimate and, if he would kindly send my a photo of himself while holding a sign with my name, Wilma Dickphit, clearly legible, I could then comply with his requests for information.  His heavily accented, barely intelligent response was - "What?"  Then he hung up.  I'm still waiting for the photo.

Same thing. I just received a call from a man claiming to be David Anderson in Jamaica representing Mega Million Cash for Life. He claimed I was randomly selected as the top winner to receive a Mercedes Benz and 5.5 Million dollars. He said, whenever pay my utilities/bills on time and shop at Wal-Mart, Kroger or other major supermarkets I earn loyalty points. The winners are selected from those who have received various loyalty points. He gave me a package code #  for the Mercedes and a reference code for a certified check for the money. He said I would need to go to Wal-Mart today and purchase a green dot money scratch card for $350. He asked how long it would take me to go to Wal-Mart so he could set up a time for me to be contacted by an attorney. I would then need to show the attorney the card, proper ID and give him the package code and reference code numbers. He said the prizes would be delivered today via a delivery crew and I could choose to receive them publicly or confidentially. I found it interesting that he never stated my name. I asked if he knew my name and he said, 'yes we have all of your information.' I then asked how I could verify his claim and he said I could call the same number that he called me from. I also asked if the company had a website. He said yes but never provided me with the address. Then he started asking me questions like, 'Are you a US Citizen?' and asking for my home address. I said I would need to verify his info then return his call. He was not happy with my statement. Throughout the conversation he was very hard to understand. Of course, this sounds like a scam and I am not calling him back.
