I got a call from a James Shelby at this number.  He was hard to understand and told me to wait for a Mrs. {someone}.  Meanwhile, I heard him talking to someone on another line telling them "the money was on the way", something about being there to receive it and "congratulations".  I was at work and didn't want to hold on so I just hung up.

Kim, this is a SCAM...your red flags are warrented. There is info on this site about how to report this, and you really should report it asap.

I received a call stating that I had won 1.5 million dollars and have won it about 3-4 months ago.  He stated his name was John Law and that he worked for Federal Express in Washington D.C.  The reason for the call was that they had to investigate the winnings to make sure that I was not involved in money laundering.  He wanted me to send $299.00 for a processing fee as required from Barack Obama and new legislation that he has imposed requiring the collection of said fee.  Once this was sent, then he personally would get on a plane and come to me with two US Marshals to deliver the check and then accompany me to the bank to deposit my check.  Two things that he said raised red flags in my mind.  One, he kept referring to Washington D.C. as the State of Washington D.C..  Washington D.C. is not a state.  Second, he kept referring to President Obama as Barack Obama.  Now if he was a legitimate person, I think he would have referred to Obama as President Obama.  I am currently waiting on a fax to confirm everything that he said to me and I doubt that I will get it.

James something. Left message on my machine saying he was a manager from UPS. How stupid are these people?

CAlled offering 3.5million dollars and wanted me to send Kevin Naughton,the merchant with the money via Western Union. If this isnt a scam I dont know what is. Said he knew my number because I had used my credit/debit card at Walmart/Target/Kmart and such.The whole is ridiculous...Has called several times since to harass so I just give em the same treatment back.A-holes!!
