This number is a scam. They pretend to be publisher's clearing house and keep you on the phone for as long as possible to get personal information. Also this number is international and will charge you a significant amount of moneu per minute.

Called my husband's cell phone, we were charged $3.24 for a 1 minute call that we didn't want!
| Jeremy 2014-01-09 15:03:01 Unknown |
Actually, it was from Jamaica, which is why you got the charge. It has nothing to do with PCH.

Your scamming callers do not maintain this site or this web page. No callers can magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. Criminals who mass-dial and violate the Telemarketing Sales Rule have no plans to stop calling you no matter what you say and regardless of your DNC registrations. They need first to be sued or jailed.

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Scammers use these numbers to not only try to scam you out of money, but also sting you with high phone call rates.

Do report the calls, Jamaican and US officials are still actively tracking down and arresting the offenders:

They never require any money, purchases, taxes, fees, or deposits of any kind to get your prize.
Publishers Clearing House DOES NOT call, email, FAX, mail, any advanced notice that you have won.
"If you are ever contacted by someone claiming to represent PCH, or claiming to be one of our employees, and asked to send or wire money (for any reason whatsoever, including taxes); or send a pre-paid gift card or Green Dot Moneypak card in order to claim a sweepstakes prize ? DON?T! It?s a SCAM. If you are sent a check, told it?s a partial prize award, and asked to cash it and send a portion back to claim the full prize award, DON?T. The check is fake, but the SCAM is real!
Publishers Clearing House does not operate this way and would NEVER ask for money to claim a prize award. PCH employees would never contact you personally or in advance to notify you of a prize award. Our prize awards are presented just the way you see in our popular TV commercials, ?live and in person? by our Prize Patrol, with balloons, champagne and check in hand - - and with no advance notification!"

I have been billed for three (3) calls from 876-460-8015, for a total of $11.83. I do not know this number and know I have not signed up for Publisher Clearing House!! I guess I am stuck having to pay for someone else to win with them!!!

I also revieved a call from this number. Saying they were from the Publisher Clearing House. I couldn't understand a word that was said. I ended up saying not to call me any more and hung up.

Just got a call from this person, my phone said "Jamaica" as the area code being called from. I didn't catch the name the person used, but they said they worked for Publisher's Clearing House down there, and asked if I had signed up for PCH at all even in the distant past. I had to repeat myself twice that No, I didn't... and he hung up on me.
I'd never gotten a call from Jamaica so I was curious. LOL

I have received calls from a guy using the name Travis. I asked him to stop calling my cell number. He said he was with PCH. An wanted to know if I had been interested i a packet from PCH. I told him not to call me again an that's when he began cussing me. I contacted PCH by phone concerning the call. An that's when I found out he was in another country. Plz block this number from your phones if they call you.
