I also met James Young on the phone while visiting my 80 year + parents.  Same story, he said they would come and film them receiving the check and car.

You just gave yourself a large charge on your phone bill.  You were charged International Calling Rates for a call to Jamaica.

I have been receiving these harrassing phone calls from a James Young claiming to be a Publisher's Clearing House rep. He tells me I won a ton of money and when I tell him I am not interested he curses at me and then hangs up. I called the number he called from back and he decided to give me an explaination for what he is doing. Even told me how he is doing it. He told me he is aiming at 80 year olds and is stealing their money to give back his people money that was taken from them. Continued to say this is all being done because of slavery. It was very disturbing talking to him. The number he is calling from is 1876-521-9807. He is in Jamaica.

Just got a call from this person *james young*. saying I won the publishers clearing.
He asked if i was home.  I reported his number to police.....and others.

I also received a phone call from this number. The caller was claiming I had won a publishers clearing house sweepstakes and said I was winning a check and a new car. I said I hadn't entered the contest and asked how he got my number. He was in disbelief and rudely asked "you've NEVER entered?" (Apparently you must be crazy to toss junk mail in the recycling bin.) After I asked him a couple more questions about my supposed winnings and the information he would need from me, and where he got my number, he told me, "wow it must be hard for your boyfriend."

Apparently a woman should never question what a man is saying, and should just give him what he is asking for without making sure it is a legitimate request.

I've received 2 calls from James Young, claiming to be from Publisher's Clearing House.  When I told him that I was not interested, and to please remove my number from his system because my number is on the do-not-call list, he told me (and I quote) "F*** off and eat s***".
