Just got a call and they also said I had won $950,000 and a Chevy Malibu. Gave me the same number as everyone else and also told to ask for "Morgan." Crazy that it's the EXACT same setup 2-3 years later.

just got the same call (Number was 1-876-545-7213 for agent morgan) I asked him how long he has been working with PCH.  He said 27 years.  I said if that is the case then you should know how long PCH has been in existence.  He then got irate and kept saying, just give me your address.  I said answer the question first.  He proceeded to get more angry and hung up on me.
I really despise people like this!

I got a call from them too.  Caller ID said Jamaica 1-876-853-9030.  I said hello and they responded back by hello do you know who this is?  I said no I do not... who is this?  They said well you may have received some mail from Publishers Clearing House blah blah blah.  But then I was listening to the voice and it sounded like it was being masked.  Like a robot talking. I had enough listening and just hung up.  Right away they call back but this time caller ID saying Private Caller.  Immediately the person kind of yells WHY DID YOU CUT ME OFF?  Couple more times he kept saying why did you cut me off.  Then I say I'm not interested in whatever you are selling.  He then goes on to say that I was randomly selected to be a winner.  Then I go on saying I'm still not interested. Person says You do not even know what the prize is how can you not want it?  He then talks about winning $3.5 million.   I tell him I don't want it and he can keep it and to not call me anymore.  Then I hung up again.

I should have tried to convince them that actually I came into millions recently and I want to share it with him first... but he would have to wire me $50K.  lol

Yes it is a scam!

It is a scam:
http://info.pch.com/consumer-information/fraud-protection

They never require any money, purchases, taxes, fees, or deposits of any kind to get your prize.

Publishers Clearing House DOES NOT call, email, FAX, mail, any advanced notice that you have won.

"If you are ever contacted by someone claiming to represent PCH, or claiming to be one of our employees,  and asked to send or wire money (for any reason whatsoever, including taxes); or send a pre-paid gift card or Green Dot Moneypak card in order to claim a sweepstakes prize ? DON?T!  It?s a SCAM. If you are sent a check, told it?s a partial prize award, and asked to cash it and send a portion back to claim the full prize award, DON?T.  The check is fake, but the SCAM is real!

Publishers Clearing House does not operate this way and would NEVER ask for money to claim a prize award.  PCH employees would never contact you personally or in advance to notify you of a prize award.  Our prize awards are presented just the way you see in our popular TV commercials, ?live and in person? by our Prize Patrol, with balloons, champagne and check in hand - - and with no advance notification!"

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.
http://www.att.net/smartcontrols-809AreaCode

Scammers use these numbers to not only try to scam you out of money, but also sting you with high phone call rates.

I didn't catch his name - I could barely understand him.  He told me I was the second place winner in the MegaMillions and won $950,000.  I immediately knew it was a scam and told him to never call me again - he started yelling something but I hung up the phone.

Same as Bryan and Tim except his name was David Kane.  And when I said I didn't enter any contests and wasn't interested he became irate and yelled and screamed.  Before I hung up he had a few expletives for me and told me to suck a part of his body :)
